Black Accomplishment???

Dear Black Community, it is time out for using mainstream or social media as a platform for public and unfruitful never ending religious or intellectual debates. You can contact each other more discreetly for sincere discussion on such things. While we're debating our different spiritual philosophies such as Kemet, Islam, Hebrew Israelites, Christianity, and others we're falling behind in our common struggle as Black People. I do not have time for any more of these redundant and exhausting spiritual or intellectual "battles" on what to believe about God, who is the "blackest", God's existence, and what is the "white man's religion". Whatever your view, it may have helped you personally but it has done nothing for us collectively. The religions our ancestors believed in Afrika didn't keep them from being enslaved, and the ones we learned after our enslavement didn't free us as we needed and are still in need of. We've already been surpassed by Hispanics as the 2nd largest ethnic group in the U.S.A, and by 2025 it is estimated by some accounts we may also be surpassed by Asians. Our abortion and disease rates are rising and we're in serious jeopardy of becoming insignificant on our way to being non-existent.

Black Nationalism

This is and will be my platform apart from and secondary to my Faith:

Black Nationalism - is a "Pro-Black" political and social-economic philosophy to help Black people independently achieve social equality, economic empowerment, and governance of the politics within their own community. Being "Pro-Black" does not mean being "anti-white", but that the interest of Black people as a community socially, economically, and politically comes first in the governments of men regardless of religious ideology or other beliefs.

Can I Be Honest About "Us"?

It has been said that if you want to hide something from Black People just write it down or put it in a book and you surely will. I hope that does not hold true for all those who read this writing which is poured out from the depths of my heart to the Black Community worldwide. I still believe in the written word to communicate information and its use for study as the prophets, scribes, and authors of old before me. I humbly request you take the time to read the words put forth and give them sincere consideration. Thank you.

On Behalf of Black Christians.....

To my Black & Brown "family" on behalf of us Black Christians,

None of you living who oppose Christianity came from a southern slave plantation or off a Trans-Atlantic slave ship, and because we can read and study for ourselves now we don't use the excuse "what the white man taught the slaves" to explain our choice of faith. You can write the most plain and clear information or speak in the most direct way and it seems Black folks will still miss the point focusing on the wrong thing, only to end up starting a fight with you and forgetting what we are suppose to be fighting for together.

Unity or Death!

Whenever a racial incident occurs it has become commonplace now that the two biggest disappointments, at least to me personally besides all the "sellouts" and traitors "cooning" among us in the Black Community, are the spiritual leaders (primarily Christian ministers) and White Christians. They are both used against us to keep us in check or from getting out of line, and from effectively challenging the oppressive system of "White Supremacy" against us in our defense. Other religious leaders of different faiths tend to be more demonstrative and polarizing, but make Christianity the enemy while not offering real comprehensive solutions to solving these issues we are facing short of having a "Race War". Their other offering is often in emotionally galvanizing others to take ill thought out actions to seek revenge which will only lead to a cycle of gang like retaliation that causes more innocent lives lost.

The Holy Bible & Self Defense

I'm not an advocate of violence, but I do believe in righteous self defense. I am also a Christian and get tired of having to defend my faith against other Black folks who believe something else and ignore the fact that we are all oppressed or mistreated by the system against us because we are Black, and not because of our religion. Black People in the United States of America seem to be the only folks on planet Earth who can participate in their own genocide while praying to God for deliverance, and march and sing about it as if continually suffering injustice and being murdered is godly or honorable. We spend so much time celebrating our suffering that we have disarmed our will to genuinely fight back to the point where nobody even respects us, and the upcoming generation doesn't want to listen to us. When called to arms to defend our loved ones or admonished to defend ourselves we instead choose to go hide behind prayer. YAH didn't even allow two of his greatest leaders, in Moses and Joshua, to always use prayer as their defense or action when he had put it in their hands to take action about a situation.

To Easy A Slave & Never the Masters of "Us"

When I see certain responses on racial issues by Black people I say to myself, "Now I understand how we became the primary targets for slavery." We're too fearful, easily deceived, gullible, submitted, and passive like the perfect slaves.

What Exaclty Is A "COON"?

Here's a bit of true history on the subject of the "coon":

COON - A contemptuous person of color who makes disparaging remarks against their own ethnic group on behalf of those who are against them, and who also goes out of their way to purposely try appeasing the same group by their behavior in the most direct contrast possible to those they are culturally related to. In other words, they make arguments for and take the side of those in charge of the system of oppression against their own people. Every news channel and media outlet has their own team of "coons" at their dispose, and some make a living off of what is called "coonin".

Christianity, Black People, African Fantasy, and Other Random Thoughts

Christianity is not a "western religion". This is an error too many make when trying to find error with it. Every major religion from Christianity, Judaism, Islam, to Buddhism and Hinduism as well as other lesser know religious systems such as Kemetic Science all came from brown & black skinned people in the same region of Northern Africa or Western Asia ("Middle East") so not one of them is "western" or the "white man's religion". Human civilization, and that of Black people in particular goes back further than the Nile Valley region and beyond Egypt. Egypt is a part of our proud heritage, but also far too often the "fantasy bloodline" and phony roots that many try to go back to. Let's just agree on Africa in all its greatness.

TO THE CHRISTIAN BELIEVER

When you have personal real evidence of your faith that is identical to the same experiences of those things written and recorded in Scripture and corroborated by the historical record you're not moved by other scientific or debatable historical information; especially with those who didn't do the actual research to see if the information they chose to believe is accurate. They'll challenge you with their information but they will never challenge their own information as to whether or not they believe a lie. The Bible is not a science or history book but contains both science and history that can be proven, and has stood the test of time. All of the challenges that you are seeing to your faith the Scriptures already spoke of them long ago in prophecy, which is history told in advance. This is where other accounts come up short by far in comparison.

Know Who You Are & Be Who You Are

The picture attached to this article is one of my personal favorites of me and my parents from circa 1972. My father was one of the early members of the original Black Panther Party after having met Bobby Seale and Huey Newton in 1966 in Oakland, CA while a college student. He was good friends with the late Dr. Kwame Toure aka Stokely Carmichael up until his death in Nov. 1998, and passed away one month after in Dec. 1998. That's my lovely mother next to him. He loved her for so many different reasons but he really loved her brilliance and beautiful dark skin for which he unapologetically maintained "the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice." I miss my father's fellowship and wisdom tremendously but he isn't coming back nor are any of the other heroes of our past. We must carry them forward within us, and I will.

The Ideal of Black Unity Denied By The Reality of Religious Division

I'm convinced we're "too religious" to unite as a people. We're unbalanced and unable to maintain the necessary balance long term. I have no confidence in a unified "Black People"; it's just a dream. Though I will continue to preach unity because it is right, I doubt we'll ever truly have unity among us for the betterment of our people. This is one area where all religions are guilty. I'm a proud Christian but I'm also a Black man who understands the importance of faith. The majority of religious Black folks in the Americas and Caribbean are Christian with a great number also in West Africa, and the majority of those in Eastern, North, and Central Africa being Muslim; not to mention the Middle East. Muslims & Christians are killing each other in Africa while Black folks in the U.S. argue over which religion is "blacker".
