Confronting "Hebrew Israelite Camp" False Doctrine #1

As I continue to study I've been blessed to meet some solid brothers & sisters in the faith of our Lord Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ who identify ethnically as "Hebrew Israelites" or just "Israelites", but who are also followers of Christ. In light of that, the discovery of new information, and in my own personal search of my natural ancestry I've revised this blog article to better reflect my current position on this matter.

For several years now I've encountered and engaged in numerous discussions with those from the group known as "Hebrew Israelites" or just either "Hebrews or Israelites". There are legitimate Hebrews/Israelites in the Americas that are the descendants of those brought over in the slave trade, but for this blog article we will be dealing with the highly dogmatic and radical elements of the Hebrew Israelite Community commonly known as "camps"

The camps are more akin to a very divisive cult movement within a legit Community that can be differentiated by how they twist scriptures to fit their errant dogma. They have no practical solutions to any real problems other than to repent and turn back to the Old Testament Law of Moses rather than to Christ as the fulfillment of the law. Many claim all Black people who are descended from slaves in North America are the scattered tribe of Judah and other people of color in the Americas are the remaining lost tribes of Israel. They also adhere to the history of Robert Windsor as told in his book "From Babylon to Timbuktu" as historically accurate and almost as authoritative as the Bible itself. Windsor tells the history of Israel and Black people in America as one and the same. Windsor's book has some truth but is also full of historical conjecture and biblical errors for which there isn't enough time or space to point them all out here.

While I firmly believe the gospel addresses all issues in life, especially those pertaining to the poor and racism, I also maintain that it is a colorblind truth for all people with none being excluded or considered superior over another. Since I originally wrote this blog I've been able to have dialogue with other more theologically sound Israelites who oppose the errant dogma of what I now know as "camp theology" which doesn't represent the Israelite Community as a whole. Upon further investigation I myself may even have Hebrew-Israelite genetic ancestry, but that will not change my beliefs concerning salvation through Christ. I respect and love a great many of Israelites, but I vehemently disagree with the fanatic camps as it pertains to salvation (on which they are very vague), and truth overall.

A half truth is still a whole lie, and camp doctrine is heresy. It misleads other Black people and those of color into the same kind of supremacist dogmas as white supremacy groups who also often use religion or the Bible to try justifying their position. In this regard they are little different except in skin color and a long history of racially motivated atrocities against others like the Christian faith claiming KKK to which they are wrongly compared to. I'm for truth, and truth is colorblind when it comes to God and salvation. I've also found in my studies that many in these particular camps have a problem with accepting the entire New Testament; in particular the writings of the Apostle Paul because his scriptural writings directly contradict their errant dogma and prove their teachings to be a lie contrary to the doctrine of Yeshua Mashiach himself.

GALATIANS 3:26-29; "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27) For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29) And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

In their errant attempts to "blacken" everything up to justify their beliefs they've even gone as far as making "King James" of England a Black man, and not merely the actual white man he was. King James having a Black ancestor or two is not beyond possibility considering that Moorish free men lived in Europe for centuries, and that African slaves were first brought to Europe before being brought to the Americas, but it is highly improbable. Many Hebrew Israelite camps use this false history to validate the KJV Bible translation as their primary authoritative scriptural resource and ignore any possible contradiction within its translation, or attribute them to white men working against the king. King James and the scholars who translated Hebrew & Greek manuscripts into the KJV were predominantly white; period!

The Bible is a book of prophecy, and prophecy is history told in advance. Once prophecy becomes history it is no longer a mystery. Who translated what is immaterial to biblical prophecy because its truth is regardless, immutable, and will always be revealed in time over any lie. Deuteronomy 28:58-67 can very easily been seen as Black People in the Americas, but it should be noted here that the curses as recorded all the way to verse 68 are not in chronological order of which they would happen but are simply listed as to what will happen. This means that Deuteronomy 28:68 which is used as a foundation by many in the Israelite Community to prove Black people are the lost tribes in the Americas could be out of sequence and not apply to the Trans Atlantic Slave trade at all.

DEUTERONOMY 28:68; "And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you."

Let's break it down and point out a few things using good common sense and not fanaticism or a distortion of the truth:

1) The Lord is talking to the nation of Israel after He's delivered them from slavery in Egypt (where they resided for 430 years total), as they're coming to the close of wandering in the wilderness for 40 years, and before they have entered the "Promised Land" of Canaan. Yahweh had previously foretold Abraham when he was still known as Abram that this would happen.

GENESIS 15:12-14; "And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. 13) And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; 14) And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance."

2) In Exodus 12:40-41 the scriptures are clearly talking about geographical Egypt, which still exist today, and is not an allegorical reference to the trans-Atlantic slave trade. The added 30-years onto the 400 is a result of YAH's chosen deliverer, Moses, having fled into the wilderness of Midian for 40-years and causing a delay when he himself was 40-years old. Had he waited another 10-years instead of acting out of the will of God by trying to aid his Israelite brothers with his own might, then the 400-year mark would have been hit right on the head (see: Exodus 2:11-15*). God Almighty didn't get it wrong but man did, and man's interference in YAH's divine plans always delays his own deliverance while complicating things for himself on the Earth. Just as the scriptures said, The Most High judged Egypt by the "Ten Plagues" and the children of Israel went out with great substance in the form of the wealth of Egypt.

EXODUS 12:40-41; "Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. 41) And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt."

The errant Hebrew Israelite camps believe they are going to spoil the United States and other western American powers just as the children of Israel did Egypt. What they fail to see is the disconnect between the timeline of ancient Israel and themselves. Ancient Israel had a plan and a land from God to build a nation. What plans do these supposed camps have to build a nation? What unified plans do we have as Black people to do this for ourselves? Not one of them has ever rolled out or presented a comprehensive plan to build up a people into a nation. That's nothing but bluster.

Not only that, but they fail to mention that it is the Black Community being plagued from all sides with violence, political disfranchisement, social exploitation, and economic oppression more than any other group of people from within & without, yet they continue to try telling us it is because we are disobedient to GOD. If we're disobedient then shouldn't they be preaching "repentance" instead of "pro-black" hatred or discrimination against African blacks and other ethnic groups they deem as non-Hebrew who they say will become their slaves?

There is more damaging doctrine from these camps than just dietary restrictions, Sabbath keeping, or rampant racial bias
that sets Hebrew-Israelite Camps apart from other Israelites as heresy being taught within the Community. Those of us in the Black Community can speak on it honestly, and I don't care for being "political correct" in doing so. If you're a Christian who thinks my saying things in a certain way is racially stereotypical then don't waste your comment calling me a racist, or judging how much of a better "Christian" you are that's going to win them with "your much more loving and godly approach." I've encountered this response from white Evangelicals who then viciously go after Black people under the guise of Christian orthodoxy or apologetics. You don't know better or have more of Christ than those who confront this almost daily in the Black Community under siege by these damnable race based doctrines.

In most cases those who condemn those like me that stand against this satanic race based heresy are White Christians with no experience dealing with this, no true empathy for the Black Community, or understand the racial dynamics behind it. These same people won't speak out against racial injustice on behalf of Black People but are quick to tell us to "just pray" about it while they continue to do nothing about it. When dealing with this type of false doctrine they pompously behave like they know better and have the perfect solution as if Black Christians don't know the gospel as well as them. That's being racist by behaving like the "almighty whitey", and in some cases other uninformed Christians act the same way. Your naivety won't accomplish anything other than disappointment by your own lack of discernment.

3) Furthermore, the scripture clearly says, "And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again..." So if they will be taken by the way where He said they would see no more wouldn't that mean geographical Egypt? Did the ancient Israelites go into bondage in America all the way back then? NO! In order to be taken back somewhere you've seen before you would have had to have been there before. We weren't in America before. So you see the twist of scripture. This is the kind of perversion of scripture they use to preach a black feel good doctrine.

Furthermore, this scripture in Deuteronomy 28:68 was fulfilled literally in history when Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 A.D. by the Roman Empire under General Titus and most Israelites were removed from Palestine either by death or taken back into geographical Egypt and sold by the Romans into slavery by way of ships traveling through the Red Sea / Reed Sea, and the Nile River. They became unwanted by the Egyptians and other citizens of the region which caused them to become so impoverished by displacement that they tried to sell themselves into bond servitude to survive, but were often rejected. This is history not a mystery.

4) The nation of Israel is a people, not a race of one particular color; although I believe they are predominantly Black people. The Black slaves brought to America far out numbered any national census of Israelite people in history, and it is my belief that there wouldn't have been enough Hebrews to fill the slave ships to the tune of an estimated 30 to 60 million people during that period, and account for all the Black people in the Americas. I believe this based on their numbers having to had been reduced due to the supposed "curse" that was on them as stated in Deuteronomy 28:62 which says, "And ye shall be left few in number...."

What kind of curse are we talking about anyway? Is it from not keeping the law of Moses as stated in Deuteronomy 28 or is it from rejecting Christ as the fulfillment of the law and the beginning of a new covenant as recorded in Matthew 27:25? The Hebrew Israelite camps don't even know themselves, but overlook rejecting Christ and go all the way back to Old Testament Law which Christ himself came to fulfill so they wouldn't have to go back to it. To go back to it is to fall from grace which is the same as denying Christ and rejecting salvation according to the Word of Yah:

GALATIANS 5:3-4; "For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. 4) Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace."

5) The awakening of the Israelites in the Americas began happening as early as the 18th century. This belief first came to light as a means for oppressed Black people to identify their struggles with the Israelites of the Bible, and to reject the twisted version of the Christian religion of their  white oppressors in the hopes of being free. The latter part of Deuteronomy 28:68 says, "...and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you." Well this couldn't possibly be the American Negro as Israel because they were bought and sold regularly from plantation to plantation all over the South until slavery was fully abolished in the U.S. in 1865. There are actually more black Hebrews in existence in Africa such as the Lemba tribe in southern Africa who genetically and genealogically can prove their origins. Only by DNA testing or thorough lineage investigation can American Negroes prove their ancestry, and most haven't done so.

6) Not one of the false doctrine teaching Hebrew Israelite camps have been able to definitively prove their tribal connection to Israel. We know that much of our heritage was destroyed in slavery, and it is highly possible that the majority of Black folks in the Americas DNA will trace back to an enslaved ancestor from western Africa with no ties to Israel. These ancestors may have never knew Hebrew, and many practiced African spiritualism or Islam. A few were actually Christians before they were taken by Europeans as slaves. Many of them would later combine African spiritualism, Catholicism, or other Christian elements in an attempt to hold on to their culture as seen in Voodoo, Santeria, and other southern superstitions passed down through generations.

7) Could some true Israelites have come over? I believe so, but not to the degree that some say, and if truly so it should be expected that they retained some connection to their true heritage to pass down, or we should be able to find more evidence of this in Africa itself. YAH has always left a "remnant" of his people as a witness, but they were never the majority. What makes it hard to prove is that we are hard pressed to find such a distinctly clear and indisputable history of retention among American Blacks. That doesn't mean the genetic connection doesn't exist and that other physical evidence hasn't been covered up either on purpose or due to a lack of thorough research.

Another point of "Hebrew Israelite" camp dogma is to convince Black people they are unrelated to Black Africans who they say sold them into slavery, and that American Blacks who they say are really Hebrews are cursed by God for disobedience as to why we're here, yet we should be mad at white people for it. If Yah cursed us for disobedience then why be mad at white people or other Africans for it? Hebrews in Africa also sold Hebrews just the same as other Africans besides being stolen away by white Europeans during the slave trade. The Moors often led the way in the European enslavement of Black people in Africa.
The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade didn't start until the 15th century which means we would have to believe that God Almighty has been pissed off at Black folks for nearly 2,000 years and even the more so over the last almost 600 years because of our disobedience. Why would I want to serve God according to this if he holds a grudge for such a long time? Is God a vengeful terrorist just against Black Israelites, but allows the Ashkenazi and Sephardic Israelites to prosper while we suffer? I think not. It is also taught that a "Negro" and a Black African are two different types of Black people; which is not actually true. The word "negro" is Spanish & Portuguese for "a member of the black skinned races" and can also be applied to Hamitic Africans.

Seeking our true ancestry and trying to fill in the gaps of our lost heritage due to "identity  displacement" by slavery is not a sin, but teaching a racially biased identity doctrine or philosophy is not of God but of man. The good news of the gospel is that you can find a new identity in Christ, but you can also search out and trace your earthly heritage as others have done. Calling one's self a natural "Israelite" is irrelevant to the salvation of one's soul, but learning one's ancestral ancestry is a worthy cause for which one should not be ashamed or turned away from. All who've tried to live by the Old Testament Law failed except our Lord & Savior Yeshua Mashiach. Rather than twist scriptures to "Blacken" them up to feel special to God Almighty why not just obey his Word by faith and receive the grace of Christ unto salvation? Trying to do it any other way only puts you at odds with Yah, but in accepting salvation through grace by faith in Christ you are part of the "Israel of God" (Galatians 6:16) just as much as any natural born Israelite.
~ Isaiah J. West

ROMANS 10:1-4; "Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2) For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3) For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4) For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."

  3. Lord have mercy. I've contemplated researching this group to help draw some of our brethen back. It is evident they have chosen to believe in something other than the truth they once knew. My prayers are with them, may the Lords will be done.

  5. I've never heard of this group, as I'm Australian, but I wonder if it was these same people who yelled out weird abuse to me and my husband last year when we were in New York. They were dressed strangely and called us white devils, and stated they would rape me and make my husband watch. I was surprised the police allowed it to go on to be honest.

    1. Yep, that sounds exactly like one of their groups. I'm sorry you had to endure that obnoxious, rude, and ungodly behavior.

  6. I've witnessed them in NYC. Many years ago. They weren't as hostile as some of the ones you see on YouTube. Multiple people of all colors were arguing with them. What's interesting is they could draw a crowd of many people.

  7. There are people who subscribe to so-called British Israelism, which as a person of British descent I find to be abhorrent and even a bit tragicomical. These deluded types of people simply teach the doctrines of devils and whatnot- something that every Christian of whichever particular denomination (I'm Catholic myself) should be aware of. Interesting article.

  9. I completely understand what you are saying. The Gospel is free for all, and so is salvation. God loves no man/woman, or group more than any other. We know that the Gospel is the living word of God. We know that it is real!!! SOOOOO, historically speaking, the Israelites have to be the ancestors of someone, and that's the same for the other tribes that were spoken of in the bible. So there is a possibility. As far as the extremism of this group, I am completely against it. Just something to think about.

  10. This article exposes the heart of the False Doctrine of this Cult. The most they say of Jesus is that he is black. As for Black Jesus on the basis of Rev 1:14, many men of Jewish decent have naturally curly hair that could be comparable to a Lamb's wool. The biggest thing to note here is that reverting back to Law IS falling from Grace. It denies the power of Jesus on the Cross. It is another perversion with the spirit of Anti-Christ at its roots.

  11. I am an agnostic atheist, and Mr. West, I am absolutely speechless, you have presented the mother of all thermo nuclear refutations against the so called original Jews, or Black Hebrew Israelites. Brilliantly combated every false claim and witness that they make and best of all you accomplished this task using the Bible.

You dismantled their doctrine with the ease of #1 Seed vs #16 seed March Madness.

Much respect and you have delivered the most comprehensive detailed refutation against their doctrine.

Your effort and dedication to put this together shows your wisdom and knowledge of and in the God of Abraham. And represent what a true Christian is really about.

    I applaud you 1,000%!!!!

Great Job, You seem to take 1 Peter 3:15 seriously.

Thank you for this powerful tool, enough is enough and regardless of what we might believe or lack in belief, we as black folks need to come together as one.

  12. There are radicals in all religions and the people you are mentioning has cast a dark cloud on the true teaching of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. However, BHI has many camps(IOG, house of Judah,etc..). and some has a lot of white members that attend, don't preach hate, and are opposite than the picture your painting. So please don't group them all together. This is the same thing that is happening in the MUSLIM COMMUNITY. A couple bad apples is spoiling the bunch. Do better research, so you don't spread disinformation.

    1. I'm aware there are many camps of BHI's (Black Hebrew Israelites) and have met some good people among them, but they have all cast a dark cloud on the true teachings of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. My research is based on scripture in direct contradiction to common BHI doctrine no matter what camp they are of, and you are giving disinformation by trying to infer that one group is somehow better than the next because they don't act a certain way.

There is no picture being painted here other than that of debunking the false doctrine being taught by all the BHI camps, and that makes them all bad apples in an already spoiled bunch. The fact you still have to refer to them as "BHI" for "Black Hebrew Israelite" speaks against the group as still valuing racial superiority or identity right in line with all the others as a paramount part of that false doctrine which is universally shared among them. You need to do better research and leave that cult instead of continuing to spread that disinformation. Shalom.

    2. I'm on the same boat as you, Anon. My older sister was absorbed into the group because she was self conscious, had enormous low self-esteem, and wanted so desperately to belong to something/someone, so she decided to join it. She was tired of not being appreciated by her Mom and my Dad, whom is divorced and is allowing my sister to live under his roof, now has to put up with it. I feel bad for him.
A common belief of that sect she tells me is on the lines of: "women should be left in the house to do domestic work". Being a housewife would have been fine... in the '50's. It's 2016, you have to pick yourself up and get some sort of income.
I just want my sister back. She used to be fashion centered and fun loving and not giving a f{^% what people say, but now she considers me a non-believer. Sad.
I hope your husband sees the error of his ways and changes his mind too, Lady Anon. I'm sorry he has divided the home like that, because my sis has divided our family for the worst. Ugh.

  13. You are not going to win with these people by "aruging" with them. They're brainwashed to be affirmed by your outrage and anger. You have to handle things in a fair and balanced way and create "reasonable" doubt as to the cult's authenticity. I've conversed with many of them and I usually get banned or kicked out of their forums because, well...it's bad for business. Here are some starter tips for you.

BHI like to think of themselves as "Keepers of the Law", they teach you can ONLY be saved by keeping of the mosaic law...BAD IDEA

1.) Research as much as you can on the Jewish conversion process called GEIRUT. It will acquaint you with the rigorous process of becoming a Jew and also give you some idea of how difficult it is to keep the law. Once you know some of the particulars you can start to pick them apart. BHI think they are law keepers because they follow a few dietary guidelines and study and read Hebrew...wrong!! Now BHI teach that the Jews are not the ORIGINAL ISRAELITES, that they are BUT, they follow the SAME LAWS so if the Jew is doing it and you're NOT,...you get the picture Here are some interesting gotchas:

a.)Jews have a restriction against meat and milk or dairy products in the same meal e.g.; a cheesebuger is a big Jewish NO-NO it's called baser ve'chalav

b.)NO TATTOOS or piercings of any kind. So all the BHI players out there with tattoos, THE LAW DON'T PLAY THAT (see Leviticus 19:28)

c.) No wigs, weaves, etc!!! OH NOOOOOO!!! Yeah, some orthodox Jews believe women wearing a wig is vain and not a suitable covering for the head and not modest as a good law keeper should be... See SHEITEL and TZNUIT

So you get the idea...the BHI are nowhere close to being REAL LAWKEEPERS. Proceed with caution when you hit them with this one IT MAKES THEM VERY ANGRY because the cult prides itself on sentiments of superiority. I told a BHI about his fancy tattoos in his profile and he deleted the post and blocked me after saying, "I was not BHI then...this was before I was in the truth" I told him, "You're still displaying it as if you're proud of it..." WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO GET THESE REMOVED....crickets

NEXT Let's talk about the contradictions of the Lost Tribes theory

BHI like to claim that they are descendents of the 10 Lost Tribes of Israel...nope

Here's some factoids for you. I encourage you to research and learn as much as you can about these topics.

1.There were ORIGINALLY in the Bible 12 Tribes of Israel, 14 if you want to get technical 13, if you exclude the Tribe of Levi which did not have any land.

2.The Tribes split in two when King Solomon dies and is succeeded by his son Rehoboam, 10 tribes stay with Rehoboam, they're called Kingdom of Israel aka Samaria, the other TWO tribes Benjamin and Judah were called Kingdom of Judah (Yehudi in Hebrew, the people are Yehudim, the word Jew comes from these names)

    3. In 722 B.C. (722 years before the time of Jesus)Northern Israel is attacked and conquered by Assyria modern day Syria. King Shalamaneser V, exiles the 10 tribes and has them moved to Assyria. AND THIS IS WHERE ALL THE CRAZINESS BEGINS!!!

4.Shalmaneser V, exiles the 10 tribes and moves his OWN PEOPLE into northern Israel aka Samaria. Jews aren't allowed to be there. Some of them run to Judah and become a part of the tribes there. Some flee into Africa and the Middle East...SOME STAY IN ASSYRIA

5.The Samaritans adopt Judaism and become FAKE JEWS, this is why Jesus says, "Samaritans worship in th e mountains....the TRUE worshipers of God worship in spirit and in truth.." They kind of had their own rules even though they worshiped and pretended to be Jews.

  15. TO SELF-RIGHTEOUS CHRISTIANS reading this that have an issue with certain above mentioned things like "Air Jordans" and "blunts": They are examples of superficial practices run rampant in many inner cities where the Hebrew Israelite Cult spreads their doctrine but some hypocritically often indulge in while condemning others for dietary restrictions or honoring their interpretation of the "Sabbath". Those of us who are actual members of the Black Community can speak on it more honestly even if brutally so. If you're a Christian who thinks my saying it this way is racially stereotypical then don't waste your comment calling me a racist, or talking about how much of a better "Christian" you are that's going to win them with "your much more loving and godly approach".

You don't know better or have more of Christ than those who confront this almost daily in the Black Community under siege by these damnable race based doctrines. Your naivety won't accomplish anything other than disappointment by your own lack of discernment. Again, don't bother wasting your comment or trying to engage me in a "comment war" because it's not going to happen. You can read the blog like everyone else and move one whether you like it or not, or make a comment worth posting that addresses the heresy or tells your experience. Don't bother with that whole "you only want comments that agree with you" nonsense because that's not true. I don't want to bother with comments that only want to argue and generally make no sense other than to help promote this false doctrine without end. Go try your better "approach" on one of them, or if you're a BHI then go try your spill on someone else.

  16. Excellent! We are ALL in the image of God. When we hate, the only winner is Satan, who chuckles in his minor victory in mocking Gods image. As long as we only have love, understanding, and compassion for ALL of every race, creed, and nation, he loses, and we give glory to our magnificent father above! God bless you ALL!

  17. Lord, please help my husband. I cannot get through to him neither can anyone else. While Insit here and read all of these comments, it shocks and saddens me at the same time because so much of it is similiar to my life.

Only God can come through and deliver my husband from this bondage in which he has been blindsided. Please Lord heal him. In Jesus name I pray amen!

  18. Is there a prayer that anyone can share with me about a loved one in this position? I pray without ceasing as I know this is spiritual warfare that is very much beyond my control. I just want the kind man that I married back. He isn't harmful to me or the family. In fact he says he wants to lead us by following all of the laws in the Old Testament. I believe in God and that through his son Jesus we can be saved regardless of our race, religion , sex, etc.

I need the armor of protection to fight these demons trying to destroy our family. Any prayers from someone who believes in prayer and that the prayers of the righteous availeth much PLeASE share.

    Many blessings

  19. Awesome. Their Ranks have swelled over the last few years with the rise of Black Lives Matter & two or three of the major police shooters were adherents to BHIs bs belief system....they have exchanged the truth for a lie & aren't looking to be corrected. I heard someone Refer to what they do as scriptural carpetbombing.

  20. My husband has taken up the beliefs in which are being discussed here. I feel like he isn't the man that I met and married. I would never had imagined he would take a drastic change such as this.

This time of the year is special to my family and I because of many loved ones that have passed on are remembered through love , family, and fellowship. However out of the blue he is saying we can't celebrate Thanksgiving (my favorite holiday), Christmas, or shop on Friday evening until Saturday morning. I'm missing out on a lot with my extended family because I'm trying to love and honor my husband.

I feel so lost right now. I've been looking for scriptures in which he could read to understand that these things that he is focusing so much on is the will of human beings rather than God.

    Fringes on clothes
    No catfish
    No pork
    No shaving for him
No cooking on Friday night until Saturday morning
Not eating anything that is cooked with heat from Friday night until Saturday morning

    More, more, and more

Can someone please share any success stories or even ideas in which I can work toward getting the man back that I married ? I know it's no point in debating with him because those men on those videos have his full attention. I've watched the videos with him of these men and they are some of the rudest people. The way that they act while standing on street corners is more aggressive and it does not bring people closer to God. In fact it seems that they aim to anger and offend people. That type of behavior isn't Christ like.

I welcome positive insight. This battle is a spiritual type of battle and I have went to God in prayer to deliver my husband from this stronghold.

I have never felt so uneasy as I am right now. I pray to God that my husband as well as anyone else's loved ones are delivered from the ideas of this group of people.

    1. Divorce him. Why be yoked to him and he isnt a believer? Reality may set in once you are gone.

    2. Other than the things you have stated in your comment, if he is treating you right, divorce is not the solution. Divorce does bring its own problems.

    3. Read Act 15

The answers straight from the disciples are all there.

  21. I've been looking for so many answers to my problem with this cult. I've been with this young lady for 8 years and we were engaged and called it off because she started to believe these teachings. Which has pushed my so far away that I can't even talk to her anymore because everything is an argument on who's right and who's wrong. It's come down to the point that she's changing her name for these people and has turned her back on her entire family. Which is so bazaar that she's doing this because she's would've never done this in the past. It seems like they are brain washing her and when she wakes up it's going to be to late because we'll all be gone and she'll be alone. I just really want to know has any got out of this cult and how did they prove to themselves that it wasn't right. Because the more I try to show her the right, it only pushes her closer to them.
I just need prayer for her and an answer on trying to help her because I love her and she was suppose to be my wife next month.

  22. Dre, I feel your pain. I married my husband 7 years ago. Then he was a God fearing family man that LOVED his family. Now all that he can do is watch these men on YouTube and has found a place 5 hours away to go and workship with them on Saturdays. He has even packed his bags and left me devastated. He said that I don't follow him and that I believe in a false God. He has truly abandoned me and our family. I don't see how he would think that God is pleased with that. I just wish I knew of people who had previous ties to these individuals and left that group because they found out it wasn't of God. I can only pray because it is way too big for me.

    1. It certainly doesn't please God, it violates scripture, as most of their teachings do. Scripture says that the ONLY biblical reasons to divorce a spouse is if they leave or they commit adultery. This is an issue in most churches, as folks overlook the scriptures regarding divorce and especially, remarriage and you have churches full of people that have divorced and remarried multiple times, have children from multiple fathers and are never corrected by leadership for sin and there Biblical responsibilities. This thing he is involved with is a terrible cult who pervert scripture for their own agenda, based on violence and hate.... As far as those who have left the group, I have seen several videos of ex-members speaking out against the Black Hebrew Israelites, perhaps you could contact one of them? I pray God gives you peace and support.

    2. Thank you for your reply. My husband told me that God wants to save marriages he put together and that if you and your spouse are equally yoked and have the same beliefs. He makes excuses for every single thing that I say.

  23. i thank you for truth. I was watching these videos of men on street corner from all over the US and started thinking maybe they right and I should join. As a women I didn't know if they would let me so before I tried I ask God for the truth. If these ppl are for telling the truth. As I watched more videos with them preaching in different cities, my eyes and ears started to open. What I noticed was they all had the same verses, same historical book, same questions & mind set of events that happened, and same pictures. As though it was scripted and they sticking to script. Then when people would come at them with a question that is unscripted they would stammer and start turning it around by giving their personal testimony with a hook to put it right back to their script. For example...yes brother I felt the same way until I read this historical book which you can't refute back and this is what it says...then go right back into their script. Not one had an origional thought. They all had the same thing to say in each video from different states across the US. Then....I ran into this article and I knew God gave me the truth! Thank you for writing this. There is hope for everyone who has a mate that is in this ....Ask God to reveal the Truth regarding this group BHI. God will do it...He did it for me!

  24. Thank you for this article! I have a Black friend who is a Hebrew Israelite. I feel bad for him. He is angry at anybody who disagrees with him, yet he is not open-minded enough to listen to others. I am Filipino married to a White woman. We are both Christians. My Hebrew friend blew me away when he said "White people will not go to heaven." Then I thought "John 3:16." Enough said. I hope and pray my friend will eventually repent and come to Christ. Thank you.

  25. I have been married for almost 17 years. My husband got into this about 2 years ago. I tried coping with it. I even went back to Sunday school, in which i'm still in, to get a better understanding of the bible. He's a barber. So, with too much extra time on his hand and an idle mind, he has come into "The truth". I've tried giving him scriptures on how Jesus fulfilled the Law. All I get back is back lash and contempt. Needless to say, I thought hard and long before deciding to divorce. I never thought it would come to this. But, I filed 2 1/2 months ago. I'm praying for you that are deciding to hang in there.

  26. These groups are doing exactly what Satan wants them to do. They are destroying marriages and families. Men are leaving women that hey pledged to love in the presence of God. Now since this group of hate filled, racist, and sexist groups emerged on computers spewing hate, separation and twisting God's good book the feelings are of anger and hurt and the spirit of abandonment. I pray to God that this group is exposed for its ugly truth. Yes my marriage is done because of this group but I pray the demise of these pathetic individuals that over marriages and families be saved

  27. I have been (unsuccessfully) trying to get through to some of these cultists. All the more difficult because I am white, I guess. The thing is, I believe the gathering of America WAS the gathering of Israelites from every race. There is no "true" bloodline of Israel, and even God said being Israel was not of the flesh, but of the spirit. God said he would "Put his name upon the children of Israel", and only one group following the Torah fits this...Christians. And Christians come in all shapes, sizes, and shades.

  28. Hey everyone my name is Earl. My uncle is trying to join one of these cults. He said the enemy was the white man he refers to them as devil's. I told him and showed him a few verses. John3:16, Isaiah 42:6, especially math5:43-48. Told him to read it then he tells me it didn't mean nothing. He claims he is a humble spirit I don't get it an humble spirit doesn't have hate. He supposed to have peace in his heart. Then he had the nerves to say God was racist I told him that's blasphemy and he needs to repent. He listens to some dude called nathel Ben Israel. Not I did my research first of all dude is a cop. And his company is own by the government. Look up I think it's called 501c3 something like that. He teaches false stuff. Told my uncle you brainwash bro. Also the name of their god is falsely to. I had given him a few scriptures to read it's like he don't care. Iuic and isupk camps they all falsely. Me as a black man if we are Hebrew Israelites tbh no black person knows that cause the history has been lost and destroyed. Trying to figure out why my uncle a racists because I'm not. To all the racists on half of an Hebrew Israelite if we are one forgive me I'm so sorry that some of our black people act this way. Tbh I think the so called Hebrews are using the Bible just to have an excuse to blame white people and everyone else that's in there way. I've heard newmerous stories on them being criminals ex-cons woman beaters to. Even read one story that a blk Hebrew murder a fivs year old cause he though he was gay. Tbh I don't Even want to be a blk Hebrews if they going around acting like this. Again for all the other races I'm sincerely sorry for the way our people acting

  29. Earl Jackson and everybody else on here I was so glad to find this. I am a white woman although my dad was part native American which I am proud of, as I truly believe we should love and embrace who we are. I saw the Black Hebrews on YouTube and cryed believing that God and Jesus hated me, I am not the most religious person in the world but Love both God and Jesus with all of my being,I treat people with respect and kindness and believe only through Love and caring about one another do we draw closer to God. Thank you all for making me feel better God bless you all.

    1. Well Aren't just a huckleberry persimmon quoting the Bible yet laughing because a few on here have expressed their fear of said hate group. What's next? Are you going to be the next BHI member to shoot up a Kosher grocery store? Or perhaps a Synagogue is more to your liking? Be careful "Black Sage" YOU are being observed. Oh yes, by all means quote Scripture but know that for you and your ilk, the words mean nothing. You are led by darkness and hate while those against you are led by the Light of G-d. The End is at hand and your cult's end is coming. Amen Selah.
