SATAN IS NOT AN ATHEIST. Satan is a being of order who doesn't rule by chaos, but he uses chaos to undermine any order in place that he wants to replace with his own. Atheism is a product of chaos because it has no concrete standards or absolute truths as a foundation. It can neither disprove or prove the existence of God, nor most of the scientific theories atheists claim discredit GOD. Don't let the present apostasy shake your faith.
2nd THESSALONIANS 2:1-2; "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2) That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand."
The ATHEIST rejects the God of the Bible or the idea of God at all, but they constantly rage against the omni-powerful being they claim is non-existent in abject contradiction of their denial. The AGNOSTIC says they have yet to be convinced of God's existence and wants tangible evidence of it while not denying the possibility of a higher power.
The world view of both atheists & agnostics makes them easy targets for a being like the Anti-Christ who will deceive the world by causing people to believe in a person like them as their best hope. He's everything they want a god to be in that he's tangible, does what they think he should to fix what humanity won't take accountability for, and it won't require faith to follow him. They will blindly trust him because of the illusion they see of him. People are already falling away into disbelief that will set them up for this.
2nd THESSALONIANS 2:3; "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition."
Every human being believes in something greater than themselves whether they admit it or not. It is a default of our consciousness to believe in what is beyond ourselves. The bowing of the knee whether literally or symbolically in one's heart by their actions or behavior is a declaration of allegiance to whom they serve, or an acknowledgement of a superior whom they surrender to. Whether people believe there is a God or not won't matter, because those who reject Christ will worship Satan in the person of the anti-Christ either willingly or by force.
2nd THESSALONIANS 2:4; "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."
The Anti-Christ will give a false appearance of solving the ills of the world in a manner in which non-believers accuse God of not doing that satisfies their complaints against the LORD. However, this is a strong delusion and deception, because the whole time the Anti-Christ will be brutally bringing the world to heel as the worst calamities in all history happen on Earth without remedy. This is a result of mankind's rebellion against the LORD as they are misled by the Anti-Christ.
The only thing holding back the Anti-Christ in the Earth at this present time is the true Church of Yeshua HaMashiach still being present in it as the light of the world. Once the Church is gone there will be nothing to hold back the Anti-Christ being revealed to enact Satan's endgame on humanity. The Lord Yeshua will be victorious over all, and establish his earthly rule after deposing the Anti-Christ according to the Scriptures.
2nd THESSALONIANS 2:6-8; "And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. 7) For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. 8) And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming."
Because atheism has no absolute truth other than the disbelief that there is a God and agnosticism leaves the possibility of God to chance, they both leave the opening for a god like being to fill in the gap such as the Anti-Christ. The Anti-Christ will be the champion for atheists against God while satisfying agnostics demand to prove the existence of a god because he will be their god. This makes it easier to turn people so deceived against the God of the Bible as the true enemy and to Satan as the true god to their own destruction.
2nd THESSALONIANS 2:9-12; "Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
To the believers, I say stand strong and hold to your faith. When you feel as if you are wavering then think on the good things GOD has done for you. It's not necessary that you be able to prove your testimony to everyone else, because it is was given for you to know these things despite what everyone else believes. People may mock you for believing but they can't disprove GOD or your experiences. The LORD has never failed nor does he lie. Trust him even when you may not understand, and believe that all things will be revealed in due time. ~ I.J. West
2nd THESSALONIANS 2:15-17; "Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. 16) Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 17) Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work."
