"Wind Advisory"; A Prophetic Weather Forecast

The word of the Lord has been going forth through various prophetic voices worldwide about the next move of God coming as "a wind". Several years ago the Lord gave me a revelation that I dated and wrote down for my forthcoming book on how the New Testament Church began with a wind almost 2,000 years ago in Jerusalem, Israel. ACTS 2:1-2; "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2) And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting."

In Ephesians 2:2, Satan is called "the prince of the power of the air". This description tells us a few things: 1) Satan is not actually below in hell, but operates in our present atmosphere in a buffer zone between heaven & earth. 2) The Devil is a spirit, and a spirit is similar to the wind in that you may not be able to physically see him but you can see his affects and feel his presence. 3) The Enemy seeks to disturb and disrupt your faith by sending contrary winds and storms against you to disconnect you from Heaven with fear & doubt. Why the wind? The wind seems to be equally important to both God and Satan. The Devil sends contrary winds to sink your ship and frustrate your purpose to make you lose faith. God will often use the same winds to fill your sails and float your boat into your destiny. In Acts chapter 2 the wind was sent as a reminder of what Jesus did and said in JOHN 20:22; "And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost". Many bible scholars believe Jesus gave the apostles the Holy Ghost at that very moment, but I disagree.

In this particular story the apostle Thomas is missing, and the complete number of "the twelve" had not yet been re-established since the suicide of Judas Iscariot. God is a God of perfect order and timing, and he wouldn't have left Thomas out or done so without "the twelve" being complete. Furthermore, Jesus would've been redundant in telling them to wait to receive the Holy Ghost in ACTS 1:8 if he had already given it to them; "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you." Notice the scripture says "after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you" which means he hadn't come upon them before this which was after him breathing on them as mentioned in JOHN 20:22. This confusion of scripture often stems from an ages old errant teaching on "receiving" or being "filled" versus being "baptized" with the Holy Spirit. The scriptures make no distinction between the terms in this regard because they are all one and the same.

The act of the Lord Jesus breathing on his disciples was a "prophetic gesture" so they would know from whom the wind and Spirit came from. The wind itself represented the very breath of God. In the same way the Lord breathed life into Adam to create man He breathed life into the Church; making man all over again. In Luke 3:38, Adam is called "the son of God". Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and in 1st Corinthians 15:45-47 he is referenced as the second Adam. In St. John 1:12 it says, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name". In 1st John 3:2 it says, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God...." What is the point? The point is that the Lord is still actively making mankind, in other words "sons of God", which includes women too. The wind represents God's Spirit actively at work among us and in the born again believers. It is the life giving power of God and evidence of His presence to change the atmosphere and establish the Kingdom of God presently. In these last days God is looking to make "sons" that will be carriers and conduits of His wind to show forth His power and glory in the earth. The return of apostolic miracles, signs, and wonders is upon us to advance God's agenda.

The apostolic and prophetic offices are now being fully restored, the biblical evangelist is re-emerging, pastors are being realigned, and the misunderstood office of the five-fold teacher as a master instructor is being recognized. Apostolic truth can no longer be ignored. This is not a denominational move, but a "Kingdom" move. Satan is aware of it which is also why so many false apostles & prophets are among us.  Many have been called and have legitimate spiritual gifts which make for a great show, but they all haven't been commissioned because they still lack legitimate Bible truth which brings true deliverance and salvation. God doesn't commission anyone with the wrong message. There are false ministers who are "windbags" sent by Satan to deceive the elect of God. Now is the time for the true ministers of the Adonai Yeshua Moshiach (Lord Jesus Christ) to speak the truth of God to change the atmosphere and breath new life into dead "dry bones", and bring forth the Kingdom of God by manifesting Christ in us by faith. Personally, I've gone through one of the stormiest seasons of my life recently. I've learned that "the word" invites the storm, so when it is spoken I expect to see the winds. You command your own storm and take back your atmosphere by "prophesying unto the wind". You have both the God given authority and power. SPEAK IT! ~ I.J. West

EZEKIEL 37:9; "Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live."
