PROPHETIC BOMB DROP: "You Can Not Be Condemned By God's Grace!"
ISAIAH 54:17; "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord."
The above passage of scripture is one of the best known and most quoted of all scriptures. We especially like to use it when faced with adversity, but have we considered the depth of what is being said? Let's examine it more closely. The first part is the best known part; "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper". This is seemingly simple enough to grasp; challenges will come against you but can't stop you. The second part says, "and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn."
Between the first and second part that is enough good word to make any believer in Christ rejoice. It just said (paraphrase), "Nothing the devil or the world brings against you will work, and anyone who accuses you will be accused in reverse and condemned for coming against you." This is why we must be extra careful of how we talk about one another. I like those two parts a lot, but I like the last part of that same verse even more, and have listed it below. It is what I call "The Grace Escape" because it gives me as a true born again believer the assurance of victory over anything that comes against me as well as my standing before the Lord which is based on Him and not on me. Because it's based on the LORD and not me it means I don't have to worry about whether or not I'm in right standing with Him or be in fear of things not working out for me because I may have done wrong. God sees me trying and knows my failure before it happens. He's not waiting around for me to mess up so He can punish me. If and when I sin God is waiting on me to call on him in repentance so He can forgive me and bless me like He has always intended to do. Grace isn't about punishment or condemnation, but about salvation in every area of your life. Shed your guilt, rid your fears, and check out the last part of the verse:
"This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord."
The term "heritage" is taken from the word "inheritance", and is something that is given or passed down because of birthright. So let's look closer at what God is saying here (paraphrase), "Because I'm your Father whom you serve you cannot be defeated, overthrown, or condemned even if the accusations are true; since you have inherited my righteousness as your covering in place of your own. Therefore, anyone who comes against you or tries to judge and condemn you is doing so to me, and I can't be condemned nor will I allow that says the Lord." WOW!...WHAT?! I can't be "defeated, overthrown, or condemned even if the accusations are true"? So you mean to tell me that when God looks at me He only sees Himself when weapons are formed against me and tongues rise against me in judgment?! This seems too good to be true, but yet it is and its in writing; "This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord."
There is grace for every case no matter the place. It is not a license to sin and unrepentant sin will send you to eternal condemnation in hell, but you don't have to go because of the privilege of your birthright as a born-again child of God Almighty in Christ Jesus. Don't forfeit your birthright. You can serve God guilt free, sin free, free from condemnation, your past, your failures, and the opinions of others even in the face of the facts. "Facts" are temporary and can change. "Truth" is eternal and comes from God who doesn't change. Put that weapon formed against you in your trophy case, turn those tongues that rose up against you in judgment into a remix of your victory song, and read the Devil and all your haters "God's Will" (The Holy Bible) to remind them of your inheritance and just who you are to the Lord in Christ; Yeshua the Messiah. Walk after the Spirit in your inheritance. Shalom. ~ I.J. West, your servant & brother in Christ, and "The Hitman for the Holy Ghost"

ROMANS 8:1; "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
Prophet Isaiah, This scripture was my mother's favorite scripture and it was placed on her tombstone. I firmly believe also that God does not want for us to serve Him out of fear of going to Hell in the end, but rather, because we love Him so much due to the fact that He gave His life to provide a way that we would not have to be lost and go to a devil's Hell. I firmly believe that Hell was actually created for the devil and his angels and that it was never God's intention for man to go there. But, due to man's disobedience to his plan of Salvation and living in defiance to God's Mercy and love and disregarding the way of escape He has provided for everyone, that's how man, woman and anyone else could end up there. The God that I know is a loving and kind God, although he has another side and says in His Word that "My spirit will not always strive with man" In the Book of Isaiah, it is quoted somewhat this, "Come let us reason together, though you sins be as scarlet, I will make them as white as snow." God is not willing that any should perish, but come to repentance and serve Him out of love for who He is....and that is a LOVING and KIND God. My daughter, whom I spoke to on the phone on yesterday is quite mixed up in her thinking as I tried to convince her that her view of God sitting up there on a great big throne and wanting to punish everyone that does wrong and can't wait to send them into a burning hell is all wrong. Would you please hold her up in your prayers and send me some advice on how I can speak with her to help straighten out her thinking. She seems as though now that she doesn't any longer believe anything in the Bible and that says that when you die, that's all there is. No Heaven, No Hell in her mind. She seems to have written God off in her mind and doesn't realize that God still loves her as I her mom loves her. The problems she has encountered throughout her life, I feel that she has blatantly brought upon her self. I will nonetheless, still continue to pray for her on a daily basis. She really needs help in straightening out her thinking concerning God and the Bible.
ReplyDeleteA-men. I will be praying for your daughter in agreement with you. Many times when a person who once believed in God decides to turn away from Him and denounce their belief it is largely due to some tragedy, disappointment, personal failure, or an accumulation of all three they have experienced that has led them to believe God is unjust. Rather than try to live up to the standards set by Him they decide that they are unreasonable and unattainable for them so they give up because it's easier to quit. When my daughter was a young child she would close her eyes while she was being scolded as if to say, "If I can't see then you are not there so I can't hear you either and I'm not in trouble." As with children, many times even as adults we can make ourselves believe that if I decide not to acknowledge the existence of something such as God then it doesn't apply to me nor the consequences of obeying or disobeying God. In doing so we become God to ourselves, and we do a terrible job at being God especially seeing that we are unqualified for the job.
DeleteThe best thing for you to do is to intercede in prayer on her behalf and be the best living witness of Christ she sees without beating her over the head with your faith. A little love goes a lot further than a lot of condemnation, and it's the goodness of the Lord that leads one to repentance. ROMANS 2:4; "Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?" Show her love and patience, but do not compromise your Christian standards for her or she will not learn to respect your walk by seeing your genuine commitment as well as your Christ like behavior. She has to be loved into her destiny and prayed away from the deception of the Devil. Be just as practical as you are spiritual; balance is key. I will be praying with you. Please send me a message so that I know who I am praying with and for because your post was "anonymous". God bless you.
