Christianity, Black People, African Fantasy, and Other Random Thoughts

Christianity is not a "western religion". This is an error too many make when trying to find error with it. Every major religion from Christianity, Judaism, Islam, to Buddhism and Hinduism as well as other lesser know religious systems such as Kemetic Science all came from brown & black skinned people in the same region of Northern Africa or Western Asia ("Middle East") so not one of them is "western" or the "white man's religion". Human civilization, and that of Black people in particular goes back further than the Nile Valley region and beyond Egypt. Egypt is a part of our proud heritage, but also far too often the "fantasy bloodline" and phony roots that many try to go back to. Let's just agree on Africa in all its greatness.

TO THE CHRISTIAN BELIEVER

When you have personal real evidence of your faith that is identical to the same experiences of those things written and recorded in Scripture and corroborated by the historical record you're not moved by other scientific or debatable historical information; especially with those who didn't do the actual research to see if the information they chose to believe is accurate. They'll challenge you with their information but they will never challenge their own information as to whether or not they believe a lie. The Bible is not a science or history book but contains both science and history that can be proven, and has stood the test of time. All of the challenges that you are seeing to your faith the Scriptures already spoke of them long ago in prophecy, which is history told in advance. This is where other accounts come up short by far in comparison.

Know Who You Are & Be Who You Are

The picture attached to this article is one of my personal favorites of me and my parents from circa 1972. My father was one of the early members of the original Black Panther Party after having met Bobby Seale and Huey Newton in 1966 in Oakland, CA while a college student. He was good friends with the late Dr. Kwame Toure aka Stokely Carmichael up until his death in Nov. 1998, and passed away one month after in Dec. 1998. That's my lovely mother next to him. He loved her for so many different reasons but he really loved her brilliance and beautiful dark skin for which he unapologetically maintained "the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice." I miss my father's fellowship and wisdom tremendously but he isn't coming back nor are any of the other heroes of our past. We must carry them forward within us, and I will.

The Ideal of Black Unity Denied By The Reality of Religious Division

I'm convinced we're "too religious" to unite as a people. We're unbalanced and unable to maintain the necessary balance long term. I have no confidence in a unified "Black People"; it's just a dream. Though I will continue to preach unity because it is right, I doubt we'll ever truly have unity among us for the betterment of our people. This is one area where all religions are guilty. I'm a proud Christian but I'm also a Black man who understands the importance of faith. The majority of religious Black folks in the Americas and Caribbean are Christian with a great number also in West Africa, and the majority of those in Eastern, North, and Central Africa being Muslim; not to mention the Middle East. Muslims & Christians are killing each other in Africa while Black folks in the U.S. argue over which religion is "blacker".

"Black On Black" Crime Does Not Justify Injustice

It is always disappointing to me at the number of Black people who seem always quick to make the counter point of "Black on Black" crime as if it is the source or justification for criminal behavior and injustice against Black folks by authorities to negate our cries and complaints against it. The ignorant and uninformed among "us" basically say because of "black on black" crime we really can't complain, or they use it to deflect away from complaints against injustice and the cries for justice. Do they ever tell white folks they can't complain against injustice or get justice because of "white on white crime" which is much greater?

Too Religious For Black Unity Because of "The White Man's Religion"?

Most Black folks in the Americas don't even know their own history or understand Black sociology but seem to always want to argue about God and religion. The 3 major religions of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam all came from dark skinned peoples in the same region of the world. Even Kemetics comes from the same region. Buddhism and Hinduism also come from dark skinned people in Sub Continental Asia. How is it that one of them could be "the white man's religion" or one is "Blacker" than the other? It can't be. White folks didn't give Black folks Christianity. That is one of the biggest lies ever told, and folks promote it because they don't research thoroughly or know their own history. In our misdirected pursuit to reclaim our lost heritage we forfeit and forsake other parts of our heritage because someone else adopted it. Middle East Asia and Africa had the gospel before Europe.

Confronting "Hebrew Israelite Camp" False Doctrine #1

As I continue to study I've been blessed to meet some solid brothers & sisters in the faith of our Lord Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ who identify ethnically as "Hebrew Israelites" or just "Israelites", but who are also followers of Christ. In light of that, the discovery of new information, and in my own personal search of my natural ancestry I've revised this blog article to better reflect my current position on this matter.

For several years now I've encountered and engaged in numerous discussions with those from the group known as "Hebrew Israelites" or just either "Hebrews or Israelites". There are legitimate Hebrews/Israelites in the Americas that are the descendants of those brought over in the slave trade, but for this blog article we will be dealing with the highly dogmatic and radical elements of the Hebrew Israelite Community commonly known as "camps"

"Listen White Folks" - An Insight Into A Black Mind On White People

This is a composite perspective from the minds of Black People on their relations with White People in the U.S. and abroad. It DOES NOT represent all Black People or even myself, but holds a lot of truth for a great many on how they view White People. It is a "toned down" composition made from a few days of conversations with others while taking notes and then putting it all into my own words to express group thought as if it was a single voice‬:

I DO NOT hate white people and have some in my family whom I love dearly as well as outside of my family because they don't treat me as "black" but as "family" with real love and respect. However, in this current racial climate and because of the deep denied thought processes it has exposed (but many Black people have been aware of) I do not trust White people in general, and don't enjoy conversing with them on race as it relates to injustice towards minorities by Whites, or in regards to the internal issues among Blacks for which I feel they should stay out of. We've achieved desegregation but never full integration into the U.S. because whites won't allow it and many of us no longer want it.

Still Praying, Still Waiting, Still Preparing

I don't know how long I'll live or how long before the World comes to an end, but I pray and hope if it survives beyond my lifetime that the World we leave our children and future generations is much better than the one we are currently living in. Prophetically speaking according to the Holy Scriptures (whether you believe it or not), it gets much worst before it gets better and is only made better by the 2nd coming of Christ. As a Christian I truly believe this and am hoping for it, but I accept that others don't and I respect their differing views. I'm a brother to my family, those of my faith, my community, and of all humanity.

Praying For A Revolution

Just because I'm not in favor of rioting and looting doesn't mean I'm against the rioters. I support them and every protester because I understand our anger over the consistent brutality against us and the lack of protection from it historically for the last 400 years. Let it also be known that I am not marching either because that is complete bullshit at this point. No need to forgive my expression because I'm angry and hurt, and I'm not asking you anyway. I'm not going to march or just pray every time the authorities decide it's okay to kill us or brutalize any person for that matter and there is no justice.
