If We Fight Can We Win?

The U.S.A doesn't have to fight a war it can't win if we stop it before it starts. Many Black People feel like white people and the U.S. government are already at war against them, but Black People have yet to fully fight back, and I pray that we don't have to. However, if we're forced into such actions to defend ourselves as well as to obtain equality and justice then I'll be doing more than just praying. Some who claim to be Christians as I do or of some other religious persuasion may fear that I'm calling for violence, but I'm calling for God given common sense. In the biblical book of Esther when the Jews were in a similar situation as Black People in America are today they weren't instructed to march or sing but were told to fight back after they had already prayed. Black People have a right to live freely in peace as human beings, and to also fight for those rights.

What I Learned During The President Obama Years

One thing President Obama's presidency showed me is that the United States of America loves to hate, but hates to love; especially if you don't have the "complexion for the connection".

Excuse Me, but Black Folks Aren't Going Anywhere!

To all the bigots, passive racists, blatant racists, white supremacists, false patriots, and coons who keep telling Black folks in the United States of America to leave the country or go back to Africa because we protest against injustices you ignore, and because we refuse to honor the American national anthem written by a white supremacist slave owner, or because we refuse to salute the American flag that represents something America doesn't practice: WE AREN'T GOING ANYWHERE!

There Is No RACISM In America

ATTENTION: There is no racism in America. It's a perfect Utopian society. The Native Americans who were here first were vagrants and loitering. The land was open for the taking, but being fair businessmen the colonists paid for it; even though they paid practically nothing by creating contracts with native folks they knew couldn’t read or understood their language. This magnificent government of the United States of Amerikkka kindly gave them reservations on the land that was already theirs so they could one day build casinos which the government keeps trying to tax even against their own laws. All America wants is the rest of their dignity. That's not a lot to ask considering all they've "given", or is it "taken"? I can't recall. Anyways...

One last thing, WHITE PEOPLE...

Before I take a short break to collect myself from the stress of the recent tragic events in our nation I need to say this: "WHITE PEOPLE", I spend more time addressing Black People because of my common familial bond with them, but I don't trust the "White Community" in general to do anything to stop racism or stand beside the Black Community in fighting against injustice. There are some exceptional individuals who do stand for what is right regardless of skin color, and I love them irrespective of color because they respect & love me the same way so I'm not talking about them. However, they are a very small few who's voices get drowned out by the majority of you who choose to say and do nothing, or who choose to speak out against the victims of injustice & brutality. You blame us for the evil done to us but then cry and get outraged over the deaths of gorillas & lions while expecting us to cry for your children?! In response to your hypocrisy most Black folks feel like, "Hell naw to the naw naw naw!"

Can I Be Honest About "Us"?

It has been said that if you want to hide something from Black People just write it down or put it in a book and you surely will. I hope that does not hold true for all those who read this writing which is poured out from the depths of my heart to the Black Community worldwide. I still believe in the written word to communicate information and its use for study as the prophets, scribes, and authors of old before me. I humbly request you take the time to read the words put forth and give them sincere consideration. Thank you.

A Black Perspective on White Indifference

The following paragraphs are my thoughts and words put together from conversations and interactions with various friends and acquaintances on the recent issues of race and relations here in America. For some they will be offended and others will empathize, but the goal is to make you think and have a positive impact that will lead to further conversation among those wherever you are for a greater understanding that will ultimately lead to helping find realistic solutions without continually and only rehearsing the problems. It is conversation and my personal perspective expressed in the hopes you that are reading better understand the thought process behind some of the various feelings and thoughts currently being voiced in our society:

ICONOCLAST: "Bill Cosby, Jello Puddin-Tang, & Being Black"

"ICONOCLAST" - One who destroys traditions, superstitions, religious images, icons, or cherished beliefs that are based on error.

I venture to disagree with some on the issue of "Bill Cosby" being lynched as a target of white supremacy or racism, because I don't believe that is the case concerning the current drugging and rape accusations against him. Cosby isn't being lynched; he's being told on in a very public and uncomfortable way which may or may not be the truth. This is not the flagship story of the day but one of several minor stories that just happens to involve a black man of great prominence. Everything is not the conspiracy we think it is. Powerful men get away with a whole lot more than the "average Joe" because they have a whole lot more means and influence, but the "chickens always come home to roost" in the end.

I'm Having A Hard Time Hearing You "Brotha/Sista"

Let me say this clearly: WHITE POLICE OFFICERS UNJUSTLY KILLING BLACK FOLKS HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH BLACK FOLKS ADDRESSING BLACK ON BLACK CRIME, SALVATION, OR OUR COMMUNITY ISSUES. You can make all the speeches or posts you want about "our" issues and preaching the gospel but that is not going to stop the police from putting a bullet in you or beating you to death. If you say the gospel is the solution and we need to preach it and live it then make sure you take that same message down to the local police station and preach it there too as well as on the steps of each city hall and state capital. We know "sin" is the main issue for all humanity, but injustice is a symptom of the sin we're in. If you're going to preach the gospel against sin then you can't ignore addressing injustice and truly call it the gospel.

Debunking "RACISM" From a Biblical Perspective

Without question or controversy Christ and the original Hebrew people were dark skinned people, but that has nothing to do with salvation or racial superiority. In fact people aren't actually as dark as the true color of "black" or even as light as the true color of "white". These descriptions have been used as subtle racist misnomers in reference to people to show that anything white was pure & good while anything black was sinful & evil. "Black" people are actually brown skinned with more varied hues than just about any other people on the earth, and can be found on every continent where civilization is established. "White" people don't look like snow nor are they naturally pure, good, and better than everyone else either.
