Do We Know God... really?

I've often wondered how so many of us think we know GOD so well. Moses said to the LORD in Exodus 33:13 even after leading Israel out of Egypt, "...shew me now thy way, that I may know thee..." The apostle Paul said in Philippians 3:10, "That I may know him", denoting that after years of serving Christ he was still learning about him even though he was a master teacher. Are we so arrogant to think we really know GOD?

The Sin of Hubris

HUBRIS [ hyoo-bris ] - excessive pride or self-confidence; arrogance.

An ugly problem I see too much of lately with ministers & community leaders is hubris. It often comes when we attain a certain level of learning that can cause us to see ourselves in a haughty way. We become scholars so much so in our own mind that we become unteachable poor listeners who will only receive from those we feel are on whatever level we think we're on. I see it in the secular world, but most often in religion.

Atheism & Agnosticism - The Twin Pistols of Unbelief

SATAN IS NOT AN ATHEIST. Satan is a being of order who doesn't rule by chaos, but he uses chaos to undermine any order in place that he wants to replace with his own. Atheism is a product of chaos because it has no concrete standards or absolute truths as a foundation. It can neither disprove or prove the existence of God, nor most of the scientific theories atheists claim discredit GOD. Don't let the present apostasy shake your faith.

What's Wrong With Being Called A CHRISTIAN?

THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING CALLED A CHRISTIAN OR SAYING YOU PRACTICE CHRISTIANITY.

The Black Consciousness Community Trap

The "Black Conscious Community" is the perfect "Venus Fly Trap" for any Afrocentric Black person oppressed by racism, seeking identity, and who has been disappointed or hurt by the so called "Black church". It is also a haven of escapism for those who never truly believed to begin with even if they were so called ministers in the church.

Confused America, Crooked America, Condemned America

Many folks in Alabama are still going to vote for "Judge Roy Moore" because he's a Republican who's against abortion, yet disregard that people in Alabama have known for years that he likes young girls? I'm anti-abortion too, but I don't get the blind support for "don't abort the babies so they can grow big enough to be molested by Roy Moore or have their private parts grabbed by a President like Donald Trump." Okay America, you are officially the most confused country of all times.

If We Fight Can We Win?

The U.S.A doesn't have to fight a war it can't win if we stop it before it starts. Many Black People feel like white people and the U.S. government are already at war against them, but Black People have yet to fully fight back, and I pray that we don't have to. However, if we're forced into such actions to defend ourselves as well as to obtain equality and justice then I'll be doing more than just praying. Some who claim to be Christians as I do or of some other religious persuasion may fear that I'm calling for violence, but I'm calling for God given common sense. In the biblical book of Esther when the Jews were in a similar situation as Black People in America are today they weren't instructed to march or sing but were told to fight back after they had already prayed. Black People have a right to live freely in peace as human beings, and to also fight for those rights.

Some Truths About EASTER & GOOD FRIDAY

I try not to comment about the holidays of "Easter" or "Christmas" and rather leave people to do as they please because of the wide proliferation of others commenting on the same subjects around that time each year. This is a brief synopsis on the pagan holiday known as "Easter". I celebrate both the birth and resurrection of Yeshua Messiah but not Easter or Christmas; they aren't the same. When you have knowledge of the truth you stop following the traditions of false doctrine. I don't condemn others for what they choose to follow but I do make the truth available as necessary for them to make their own decisions.

No Colorline in Christ

There are Black & White people who are Christians and there are congregations that are predominantly one or the other but there is no color line in the Body of Christ. That's the part so called pro-black "Conscious Community", "Hebrew Israelite", and other supposed pro-black groups hate because they want all Black Christians to be as hateful as them towards other ethnic groups and forsake our faith in order to be considered "black enough".

The Anti-Hotep Blog

I'm done with the "Conscious Community" for good. You've proven that it is completely impossible to work with you, and you're more hostile to black folks than you are towards those who mistreat them. I don't trust you, I don't like you, and I don't care anything for what you say you're about or doing because everything you say is a contradiction to what you claim to stand for. If you're on any of my social lists please make your exit. I no longer care to unite with you no matter how "pro-black" you claim to be, because all you've been is "anti-black" to me and others from what I've experienced. You're issues with my religion is your problem, not mine.

Hotep Hypocrisy

Don't be duped by videos on the internet with titles like "Christian Pastor leaves church", and think these people in the videos are legitimate pastors or even solid Christians. They're never well studied and almost always involved in things behind the scenes they won't disclose that are the real reason they left. The fault of those who believe them is their own lack of knowledge in the Word. The outrage against the truth by the Conscious Community only proves the Scriptures.

Get The Hotep Outta Here!

Some of you who claim to be "pro-black" or "conscious" are always looking for a fight, but constantly pick the wrong folks to fight. I'll fight you, because I don't back down from bullies or fools, and in my book many of you "Hoteps" qualify as both by trying to constantly fight Black Christians over our faith. I've finally accepted that we'll never have a true Black CommUNITY, because Black folks like you will never allow it.

What I Learned During The President Obama Years

One thing President Obama's presidency showed me is that the United States of America loves to hate, but hates to love; especially if you don't have the "complexion for the connection".

For Black Folks Only; Are You The Coon?

This is for "BLACK FOLKS ONLY":  Some of our people in the Black Community who may on occasion be guilty of "cooning" aren't always your typical "coons" & sellouts. We can't be so quick to write them off and never allow them a way back into good standing without examining ourselves first. At times we're the ones guilty of selling them out, and driving them away into seeking acceptance from other communities because we won't accept them in ours as they are for being themselves.

A Rigged System For A Rigged Society

Sadly, crazy Donald Trump was right; this election is rigged. 'Jill Stein & Ajamu Baraka' aren't included on the ballot in every state even though they won the Green Party's primary unanimously. Your votes mean nothing without the money to back them up, and the Black Community is broke, divided, and misguided; which is why our votes don't mean diddly, because we give our money to everyone else except us. Those with the money can buy political power (politicians & judges) to overturn what you vote for.

Excuse Me, but Black Folks Aren't Going Anywhere!

To all the bigots, passive racists, blatant racists, white supremacists, false patriots, and coons who keep telling Black folks in the United States of America to leave the country or go back to Africa because we protest against injustices you ignore, and because we refuse to honor the American national anthem written by a white supremacist slave owner, or because we refuse to salute the American flag that represents something America doesn't practice: WE AREN'T GOING ANYWHERE!

Why Pro-Black Anti-Christians Will Never Lead The Black Community

To my "Black" Muslim, Kemetic, Hebrew, and Atheist brethren in general: Until you all learn how to leave "religion" out of the equation in conversation about Black Empowerment you'll never help Black people, and our community will never be united. Religion is deeply personal and we're too emotional. Let your religion govern your behavior. Two-thirds of the Black Community is Christian by "choice", not by brainwashing. When you publicly attack people's faith, as you often do to Christians, you alienate more than half of the community you claim to love. The "trap" you fall into is offending your own in such an unwise way. Because of you I've just about given up on ever achieving a unified Black Community. The greatest dividers of the community are Black People like you. The government doesn't need a new "CoIntelPro Program" because they have you.

The Idolatry & Hypocrisy of American Flag Worship

It is idolatry and near fanaticism to worship any flag or national anthem the way so many Americans have been brainwashed to do and believe in. It reminds me of how Black folks blindly follow the Democratic party, or even worst the Republican party. When did sporting events become sacred services for the flag & anthem at the kickoff, jump ball, or medal presentation? Nobody has to stand or hold their hands over their hearts if they don't want too. Folks "died" for that "right" also. I honor all my fallen brethren and those who served in my own way, but I support anyone's right not to stand for the national anthem, and don't see it as being disrespectful. One person sees the flag as a symbol of freedom while another sees it as a symbol of blistering injustice and abuse.

BLACK POWER - What Is It?

BLACK POWER!; WHAT IS IT? The term "Black Power" was first brought to public light by author Richard Wright in his book titled "Black Power" in 1954. It would later become popularized in 1966 by the late Stokely Carmichael, aka Dr. Kwame Ture, during a nationally televised speech on June 16, 1966 in Greenwood, Mississippi surrounding the shooting of James Meredith. During the speech Dr. Kwame Ture (Carmichael) said at one point, "Don't be afraid, don't be ashamed, we want Black Power! We want Black Power! We want Black Power! We want Black Power! We want Black Power! We want Black Power! We want Black Power! We want Black Power! That's right, that's what we want and we don't have to be ashamed of it."

Christianity is NOT The Black Community's Problem, But...

BLACK COMMUNITY:  Christianity is not nor ever has been the Black Community's problem, but "White Supremacy" and division among us is our problem; not religion. White Supremacists don't have the same kinds of divisive discussions Black People have when it comes to oppressing us, religion, or their rights and protection, but we can't seem to help ourselves and just stay more divided by offending each other on a regular basis while going nowhere over these same issues. How is it they can put aside their differences to conquer you but you can't stop insulting your own people because of our differing beliefs? That's what you need to wake up from. Every white person is not out to harm you, and every Black person is not for you.
