Be careful who you attach your name to. We are too "starstruck" even in the pulpit. Once you start "name dropping" and pursuing relations with those you thought were important and wanted to be like with no regard for the obvious signs and evidence of their ungodly character, then you also put yourself in position to be judged by the LORD for the things he is not pleased with and will judge them for. The only name that matters is that of "Yeshua" (Jesus).EXODUS 32:26; "Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD'S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him." WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON PREACHER?!? Your associations testify against you. Don't even try to use Yeshua the Messiah as your excuse and say he hung with sinners. Sinners hung out with him and he sought out those who were in need of him. He never sought out the rebellious religious leaders who took advantage of and abused the sheep, but he corrected them and condemned them when they rejected him. You drop the sheep like they are meaningless when one of your preacher "idols" calls you or shows up somewhere. The leaders & pastors are foremost to blame for allowing "wolves in sheep's clothing" in among the flock to steal money, fornicate with the folks in their congregation, and teach false doctrine without ever making them accountable for the things they've done while completely ignoring everything else and not asking for any explanation at all. YOU WILL BE HELD GUILTY BY ASSOCIATION WITH THOSE WHO ARE IN REBELLION AND WILLINGLY OUT OF THE WILL OF GOD. If you support or have pleasure in them that do such things then you will be judged like them as if you do those things.
ROMANS
1:28-32; "And even as they did not like to retain God
in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do
those things which are not convenient; 29) Being filled with all
unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness,
maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity;
whisperers, 30) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud,
boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31)
Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection,
implacable, unmerciful: 32) Who knowing the judgment of God, that
they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the
same, but have pleasure in them that do them."
"Fatherless"
leaders often pursue the wrong types of "leadership images"
and adopt ungodly role models whose character is contrary to that of
Christ; who should be their role model. This often happens because
they lack proper spiritual fathering themselves or have unresolved
issues relating to a poor or non-existent natural father. They appear
strong, possess braggadocio falsely called "swag",
and act untouchable or distant to project a false sense of mystery in
order to protect the insecure child they were that still lives in the
adult they are. They overcompensate in other ways that often leads
them to pride and the wrong ideas of what godly ministry &
leadership really is many times because of the moral failing of a
leader they respected or the feeling of being orphaned by that leader
to fend for themselves to soon. At other times it was just them
wanting to be in leadership before their time, and being further
deceived by what appears to be early success, but without any real
idea of the long term spiritual damage they are doing to those
following them as well as their own selves. Many of them have
legitimately been called by God, but without the proper guidance they
are in "on the job training" for a position in the
Kingdom of God that requires a close hands on "apprenticeship".
That being the case, they become responsible for themselves to early
and accountable to no one while being seduced to seek the same
platform with those who are similar to them or tied into what they
have been enticed with; such as status among men. They are like
children raising themselves with no clue of the secret lifestyles of
the men & women they are in admiration of, but have been deceived
by their own lusts and a nagging childhood desire to be recognized
and feel important. They'll never be big enough because they compare
themselves to other people as the standard rather than the Lord
Yeshua the Messiah; who is God Almighty manifested in the flesh.

CORINTHIANS 10:12; "For we dare not make ourselves of
the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves:
but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves
among themselves, are not wise."
I'm
not one for slander or gossip and I try to be careful in my approach
to those who are considered leaders, but I will never be blind, dumb,
and deaf for the sake of going along to get along. We are to judge
righteously by the Word of God so the burden is on God and not on us.
I believe in a person's restoration, but that comes with a spirit of
humility and a willingness to accept discipline & correction
without a demand for continued position or a denial of
accountability. How can someone be restored if they won't acknowledge
having lost or forfeited what they had? It's phony! They just want
everyone to overlook and forget while using God's grace as toilet
paper so they can get back to making money. We are so desperate for
recognition and to be well known that we compromise our integrity and
disregard discernment to pursue our own vain ambitions. Many of the
leaders are influenced and controlled by the spirit of "affectation".
Affectation is giving the false appearance of a quality one does
not actually possess to gain the approval of others, and to behave
without regard for compromising one's character in order to be
accepted or in association with others you think are accepted.
Acceptance with man is often rejection by GOD. Who and what the
leaders peddle and promote is most often what the people accept, and
this is why leaders will be judged with the greater condemnation. The
Spirit of the LORD says, "Some of you leaders are like whores
and groupies willing to lay on your backs or get on your knees just
to say you've been with so and so". Stop trying to show
others how important you are by the celebrities and supposedly
important people you know. They may not be who you think they are in
the eyes of GOD, and it may say more about you than you want said.
Trying to be friends with the wrong ones can make you an enemy of the
wrong "ONE". ~ I.J. West

CHRONICLES 19:2; "And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer
went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou
help the ungodly, and love them that hate the Lord? therefore is
wrath upon thee from before the Lord."
