How are you a "prophet to the nations" when the only people you proclaim anything to are "church folks" regardless
of how spread out around the world they may be?! You don't even speak
to those in your own community but will gladly ask for or take their
money to buy yourself a life they can't afford. How can a messenger be
sent of GOD when all they do is say what you like or want to hear?
Do
you think traveling around the country, being on television or radio,
hopping across the border, or going overseas to foreign countries to do
your "church thang" as your claim to fame so you can brag to others is "speaking to the nations"? Most real prophecy is given in private, but the prophetic message is proclaimed openly as "forth-telling" for the present, and not as "foretelling" of the future or a "word of knowledge" to reveal the unknown. Do you really think calling out unknown things accurately about people publicly for the pleasure
and enjoyment of a desperate crowd makes you a prophet? Guess again!
JEREMIAH 14:13-14; "Then
said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not
see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured
peace in this place. 14) Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets
prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded
them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and
divination, and a thing of naught, and the deceit of their heart." #FalseProphets #PROPHET
False
prophets & phony messengers love being celebrated with title in tow
but fear being vilified, ostracized, criticized, isolated, or
persecuted for declaring the often unpopular and inconvenient truth.
They don't challenge the unrighteousness of government or social
injustices against men. These same kinds of religious leaders conspired
with the unjust government system to crucify Christ because he boldly
addressed the spiritual, social, economic, and political conditions they
profited from. Even today these same leaders will seek to assassinate
the character or sabotage the mission of those who choose to operate
outside of their walls and not under their control while continuing to
take advantage of others.
Christ was a carpenter who never built a church building, raised a "building fund",
or even spoke behind a pulpit but prophesied of and allowed the
destruction of his own temple because his focus was on building people. Yet, those who sit in or desire comfortable and extravagant edifices that
cost millions of unnecessary dollars will speak ill of those of us who
minister in the "wilderness" like Christ and John the Baptist
did. The voices of the Lord Yeshua along with his apostles &
prophets went far beyond borders even when they were physically confined
and after their deaths to minister salvation, restoration and relief to
the poor, the oppressed, downtrodden, ignored, outcast, and the
disenfranchised.
MATTHEW 11:8-10; "But
what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold,
they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. 9) But what went ye
out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.
10) For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger
before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee." #MESSENGER
Their
message is still relevant and speaks today even louder than ever
before. We have an abundance of false "Profits" who love self
centered pageantry along with other pretenders, title
grabbers, charlatans, liars, soothsayers, psychics, con-artists, and genuinely
gifted people who misuse their God given gifts for personal gain. We are in dismally short supply of true prophets,
apostles, and genuine messengers.
The same way
religious leaders disdained John the Baptist because of his appearance
and unorthodox manner so do they those who speak the truth today. People
don't recognize the true gospel when they hear it or the true messengers
of it when they see them because of listening for and looking at the
wrong things. The "field of the Lord" is still the world where both the
labor and the harvest truly are. ~ I. J. West
MATTHEW 9:36-38; "But
when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them,
because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no
shepherd. 37) Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is
plenteous, but the laborers are few; 38) Pray ye therefore the Lord of
the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest." #GOSPEL #TRUTH
