Walking in the "Spirit of Elijah" - True Prophets

To truly walk in the spirit of Elijah as a genuine prophet & witness of God is to be a non-conformist to the point of appearing rebellious even in one's very appearance, yet modestly and in holiness according to God's Word, but in opposition to a system & society that is in apostasy & rebellion against the LORD. It is a supernatural walk that requires extreme sacrifice & discipline in order to prove the ministry and manifest the power of God. The Lord molds the prophet in order to wear the mantle and walk in the power. The true prophetic mantle is worn in a lifestyle that is tapered by YAH (GOD) himself and is not for one's own vain glory. A prophet or prophetess is not birthed by the apostolic office but out of the Spirit of God along with the apostle. JEREMIAH 1:5; "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." Both must be called directly of the Lord Yeshua so that the two may work in tandem to increase the Kingdom of God in the earth for the glory of the LORD. There must be a complete denial of one's self with a true revelation of the Godhead and salvation. GOD ALMIGHTY DOES NOT COMMISSION APOSTLES & PROPHETS WITHOUT THIS REVELATION NOR SENDS THEM WITH THE WRONG MESSAGE. 

JEREMIAH 29:9; "For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD."  

Many have heard God's voice and have even been anointed to operate in the Spirit but not authorized to operate in the Spirit. They left out to soon in their own zeal, and not at the set time of the Lord's command; which will cost them more than they can pay if they don't repent and submit to the correction of the LORD. PROVERBS 16:25; "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." You may be anointed now but not appointed till later. David was anointed to be king before he was actually made king. Even the apostles themselves were told by Adonai Yeshua Moshiach (Lord Jesus Christ) to wait in Jerusalem until they had everything they needed to do the work of the LORD. There is always a waiting and preparation phase by the LORD before there is a release to do the work of the LORD.

ACTS 1:4-8; "And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. 5) For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. 6) When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7) And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

To leave the school of the Spirit without graduating is to go on an assignment without proper authorization and preparation which makes one a "vigilante". This means that you have taken the law (God's Law) into your own hands and decided to act in his name without his permission and against his will; which makes you a violator of God's Word & Law which are one and the same. Such an act has dire eternal consequences. MATTHEW 7:21-23; "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Notice the words of the Lord Yeshua in that he didn't say "he once knew them", but that he "NEVER" knew them. This carries the same meaning as used in other scriptures when it says a man "knew" his wife or a woman in reference to sexual relations, and which most often resulted in offspring. GENESIS 4:25; "And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew." For one to truly be known of the Lord means to be intimate with him spiritually and not devoid of the true revelation of the person of Yeshua the Messiah. Too many ministries are illegitimate and producing illegitimate offspring yet calling themselves legitimate by the name of the Lord when they are actually spiritual bastards producing spiritual bastards in the eyes of the LORD. This happens both knowingly and unknowingly, but in either case it will be judged the same way by God as like unto the rebellion of false prophets and unbelievers.

JUDE 4-5; "For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. 5) I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not."

We must discern and make the distinction between those who are working for themselves in the name of the LORD and those who are sincere in their endeavor to work for the LORD but are in error.  MARK 9:38-40; "And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. 39) But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. 40) For he that is not against us is on our part." Those who are sincere in the faith with limited knowledge and understanding based on the teaching they may have come from, and yet still lack the doctrinal truth and soundness of the gospel must be dealt with in love and wisdom. We are not to stop them from working for the Lord but to encourage them to continue the work of the Lord by exposing the error of their doctrine to them without embarrassing them; while declaring "the way of God more perfectly". This is clearly seen in scripture with Aquila and Priscilla in dealing with Apollos; of whom the scriptures uses such words as "eloquent, mighty, fervent, and diligently" in describing him in the book of ACTS 18:24-26; "And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. 25) This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. 26) And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly." After his encounter with Aquila and Priscilla, Apollos was now properly authorized to fulfill the call of God on his life and commissioned to carry on. We even hear about him being mentioned by the apostle Paul later on in the Bible extensively, and even in the same breath as himself and the apostle Peter (Cephas); recognizing the legitimacy of Apollos ministry in Christ.

1st CORINTHIANS 3:22; "Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours".

To take both the name of the Lord Yeshua (Jesus) and the anointing without his appointing is the same as the felony crime of "impersonating a Peace Officer", but with far more serious consequences. No apostle or prophet is certified by God without the proper information. The prophets are to be confidants in the secret counsel of God according to the scriptures as stated in AMOS 3:7; "Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." A true apostle cannot build the Kingdom of God on a false foundation without accurate and solid revelation of who the Lord God is or they are false apostles who will be judged accordingly. 2nd CORINTHIANS 11:13-15; "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works." It does not matter how much Hebrew & Greek you know, how many scriptures you can quote, how well you preach, how many titles or how much seminary training you may have. It doesn't matter how long you have been a member of a ministry or claim to have been saved. It doesn't matter your pedigree or how much you have witnessed the power of God at work in your life. In fact, to have such things on your life's record and deny revelation of the truth of God will serve as a witness and evidence against you before the LORD unto your eternal condemnation. The traditions of men and your own understanding won't serve you against your denial of the gospel truth concerning the person of Christ the Lord when you stand before the Lord.

COLOSSIANS 2:8-10; "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9) For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10) And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power"

We cannot continue to reject truth for the convenience of continuing in the popular and widely accepted convoluted heresy of the vain traditions of men erroneously called "early church fathers" and the like who leaned to their own understanding and pagan influences to define and describe God contrary to the Holy Scriptures. YOU ARE NOT A TRUE PROPHET OR AN APOSTLE IF YOU DON'T KNOW YESHUA MOSHIACH (JESUS CHRIST) IS GOD ALMIGHTY MANIFESTED IN THE FLESH ACCORDING TO THE HOLY SCRIPTURES! 1st JOHN 5:20; "And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life." The scriptures clearly state "This is the true God" that we are in, not a God, or a 2nd person, or subordinate being in the Godhead. The Bible makes it clear over and over again God is numerically one such as in DEUTERONOMY 6:4; "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord". In fact, Yeshua himself said that to know this was the first, also meaning greatest, commandment in MARK 12:29; "And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord." He goes on to elaborate on how one is to love God and one's neighbor. How can you truly love a God you don't really know? You should love him enough to want to know more about him according to his word and not according to what others have told you to accept. The Holy Scriptures also uses the Hebrew term "Elohim" which means a plurality within his person that makes God to wonderfully awesome to describe; not a plurality of different personalities. GENESIS 1:26; "And God (Elohim) said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness...." This means God can talk to himself within his own being and say terms like "us" and still mean himself by himself and we can't understand that because it is a mystery beyond our comprehension. Who says he can't?! He is absolutely sovereign; so he can speak however he chooses. We try in vain to comprehend this in a way we can understand, but in much the same way we are beings bound by and living in the sphere of time that can't truly grasp the reality of eternity or how GOD has always existed without a beginning or ending, so it is we continue to fall short in the revelation of the Godhead. These things must be accepted by reason of faith.

ACTS 17:29; "Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device."

As humans we are triune, meaning three part beings consisting of "spirit, soul, and body" made in Elohim's (God) "image and likeness". 1st THESSALONIANS 5:23; "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." At death the body, soul, and spirit will be separated one from the other and brought back together again as one by the same Creator who made them; however, at no time is the person ever three separate individuals but you remain one total being just like God Almighty. Yeshua himself said that we couldn't fully understand this and went on to say that while he was on the earth in the flesh he was simultaneously also in Heaven and yet still one being in JOHN 3:12-13; "If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? 13) And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven." How is it possible he is the "Son of man" (he specifically did not say "Son of God" for a reason) who is the only man that has ascended up to heaven but came down from heaven and is still in heaven while he's yet saying this on the earth??? Don't look so puzzled; Christ said it. He could only say this if he was actually the unlimited and sovereign God made known in the likeness of sinful flesh according to the scriptures. That's "Boss talk" straight from the Boss himself. The term "Son of man" with a capital "S" means the incarnate supreme God visible in a body of flesh born of a woman; while the term "Son of God" with a capital "S" means the invisible Holy Spirit of the Almighty God in Christ as tangible and manifest by the power of God through the physical man. Christ was all man and also all God. As a man he ate, prayed, grew, slept, and participated in human life just like other human beings. As a man he died and was buried having been separated from the part of him that was God during his crucifixion so that he could die and take on all the sins of the world as our perfect sacrifice and atonement to redeem us. This is why "the man" cried out to God in MATTHEW 27:46; "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" You can't kill God and he is sinless so the eternal Spirit had to separate from the man so the body could die, be buried, and later resurrected according to his word.

ROMANS 8:3; "For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh".

God could not come into the world as he truly is to redeem mankind or he would've violated his own word when he gave mankind dominion over the earth, nor would he have been able to redeem man from the penalty of sin since it was a man that must make the perfect payment (sacrifice) for such a ransom; being that a man sold us out. ISAIAH 63:5; "And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me." Because these types of infinite things are so far beyond our finite understanding we relegate ourselves to someone else's or some supposedly authoritative council's best guess. In doing so we accept false doctrine that becomes so entrenched in our psyche that we call the truth a lie & heresy to accept the word of liars & heretics who have built their foundation on the lie, received degrees in the study of the lie, started churches in the name of the lie, baptized folks in the name of the lie, and many with great sincerity, conviction, and eloquence preach the lie mightily being fervent in spirit and quite diligently but a bit off just like Apollos before he was corrected. A half truth is still a whole lie. Let's not confuse the issue and get lost in trying to define or explain something the scriptures clearly call a "great mystery" by such non-biblical sacred cow terms as "trinity" or even by the more strict term of "oneness". It is called a "great mystery" because it still retains its mysterious quality even after it is revealed and explained. The mystery of godliness can't be reduced by our puny intelligence and feeble attempts to grasp this concept to non-scriptural terminology such as "1st person, 2nd person, and 3rd person" and all the false "creeds" that we have blindly accepted which are the exact types of "vain traditions of men taught as the doctrine of God" the Lord was talking about. The Holy Scriptures state YESHUA MOSHIACH (JESUS CHRIST) IS GOD as an unequivocal fact. Why is it so hard for us to believe, and why do we put limitations on an unlimited GOD concerning his person? The only things he can't do is fail, lie, or die. Can we believe in God the way his holy book says?!

1st TIMOTHY 3:16; "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." 

Nowhere in the entire Bible does it use the terms "God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost, or God the Holy Spirit". This is an erroneous embellishment of the scripture as it is written, or at least as we know it today in MATTHEW 28:19; "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost". This particular scripture as we know it wasn't written this way until around 381A.D. when it was changed by the Roman Catholic Church to promote the doctrine of the trinity. The original manuscript is believed to have actually read "...baptizing them in my name", and the trinitarian baptismal formula was unknown to the apostles of Christ and the saints of God for about the first 300 years of the Church. Even with the interpolation it gives us one "name" (not names) for one sovereign and eternal God who is revealed in the "person" (not "persons") of "the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost". That one name was declared in the person of the Son of God as "Yeshua HaMoshiach" (Jesus the Christ). JOHN 17:26; "And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them." What is the declared name? It's the same name the apostles baptized in throughout the book of Acts and all believers were baptized in both water and the Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues for nearly the first 300 years of the Church before the great Catholic apostasy, and can be found throughout the entire book of Acts used exclusively and explicitly in the commanded ordinance of Christ concerning water baptism. 

ACTS 2:38; "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."  

The name "Yeshua" means "YAH saves" (GOD saves) because the whole purpose of the incarnation of GOD in Christ was to save us from our sins, MATTHEW 1:21; "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." Only the LORD GOD himself could save us. The Hebrew prophets of the Old Testament were never at odds or confused about the person of the Lord God Almighty as he would reveal himself in Christ. In fact, the prophet Isaiah writes a peculiar thing in stating that the "child" which is to be born the Messiah and Savior of the world is both "The mighty God" and "The everlasting Father". This clearly means that Yeshua was Yahweh manifest in the flesh. ISAIAH 9:6; "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." The term "Moshiach" (Messiah or Christ) means "the anointed one" who would be "Yahweh" (The LORD) himself as we know him in the Old Testament, now come in a human body to fulfill the law so that we may escape the penalty of the law and the curse of sin which was death, ROMANS 8:2; "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." 1st CORINTHIANS 15:56; "The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law." When you call on the name of the "Lord Yeshua" (Lord Jesus) you have used the ONE name that encompasses all that God is, and the only saving name that God has given to mankind.

ACTS 4:12; "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Truth always challenges traditions and may be hard to accept. Some will study it trying to find errors as self styled apologists rather than search for truth with "Berean skepticism". This is the same hardness of heart that Pharaoh had in rebellion against God when he refused to let Israel go. They can't let go of their vain traditions and doctrines. We carelessly throw around the term "heretic" without ever researching our own faith or the doctrines we believe according to the scriptures themselves. We too often have more faith in who taught us about God than in the Word of the God we claim to believe in, so we never question or study beyond what we assume to know. Some spend hours combing the internet for information that agrees with their erroneous beliefs to satisfy their conscious rather than give in to the Holy Spirit and confess they are wrong. Some will say I'm teaching "modalism" or some other doctrine of which the false "early church fathers" condemned with all of their apostate "creeds" rooted and steeped in paganism and Greek philosophy; which those creeds of themselves are actually anti-Christ. ROMANS 10:9; "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." There is no error in the scripture but in the understanding of it, and it clearly states that you "shalt be saved" by faith, not that you presently are just by doing this. This scripture was written to those who were already in the Body of Christ as believers and had obeyed the Word of the Lord through the apostles. Furthermore, faith requires obedience to be valid in order for one to be justified by it or your faith is null and void. The argument of Faith and Works does not contradict the issue of obedience to what Christ taught and commanded. JAMES 2:17; "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." A "work" is something you do of yourself. To obey the command of Christ is of a necessity, and doing what he told you according to the scriptures is not a work of yourself. God responds to faith not doctrine, but it is the doctrine of God that will judge your faith and obedience. If you truly believe then you will act on that belief or your confession is a lie (faith = belief in action).

JOHN 3:5; "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

The scriptures make it plain that God Almighty is triune in the revelation of his being to mankind, yet numerically one in his person. 1st JOHN 5:7; "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." This same sovereign and eternal God shed his blood for the remission of our sins in the person of Yeshua Moshiach, and made it so that the atoning blood of Christ is accessed by faith in him. This faith is validated by obedience to his word concerning his command to be water baptized (meaning "fully body immersion" and not sprinkling) in his name for the washing away of your sins as well as faith to believe for the baptism of his Holy Spirit with the initial and tangible evidence of speaking in other tongues. Obedience to these divine ordinances (not "works" of men but of God) serves as a witness that the gospel is true and a person is a true member of the "Body of Christ". The scriptures make this truth evident as it pertains to the blood of Christ, water baptism, and baptism of the Holy Ghost all bearing record as witness in the earth and agreeing in the person of the Moshiach Yeshua (Christ Jesus). 1st JOHN 5:8; "And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one." This constitutes being born again according to the Holy Scriptures; not the saying of the "Sinner's Prayer" to attain an intangible feeling of relief without true power to change or live for God. The "Sinner's Prayer" only leads one to repentance, not salvation, and is a more recent invention of the last century by evangelist who were looking for a quick way to convert people to Christianity in mass without having to baptize them; contrary to the practice of the church for the first 1,800 years of its existence. It is both a false doctrine and a gross perversion of the Word of God in being a departure from the command of Jesus Christ and his Apostles. GOD gives evidence in "signs and wonders" to confirm his word so that the true believer knows what they have is genuine and that God's Word is true. MARK 16:17; "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues". Without the Spirit of Christ you are not truly His.

ROMANS 8:9; "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."

How is it that so many who claim to be apostles and prophets lack this revelation? JOHN 3:9-10; "Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? 10) Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?" Many have been called so they got up and went without being chosen and sent, MATTHEW 22:14; "For many are called, but few are chosen." God doesn't commission messengers with the wrong message because they will lead others astray. He may bless but that will be "in spite of" and not "because of", and those very works will testify against you at judgment. If you don't know this truth then you are walking in a lie, and need to repent and make the correction according to God's Word. God is not confused about who he is and there is no debate in heaven or hell over the Godhead. We're the only beings in the entire universe who have made it an issue, and a very divisive one at that. What you are reading and being taught is true "monotheism" (belief in one singular God) as revealed and declared in the Holy Bible from the first book of Genesis to the final book of Revelations. I'm a Christian who follows God by faith in the person of Yeshua the Messiah just like the apostles of Christ and the prophets of old did according to the revelation of their day. I don't pray to three different personalities or beings, or even two. I pray to one singular God with whom I have a triune relationship with as my Heavenly Father who created me, the Son of God who redeemed me, and the Holy Ghost who has regenerated my spirit that I might be in communion with my "Lord and my God" as it is written. TITUS 3:4-6; "But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6) Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour". I'm not a denominational adherent or follower of man. I'm a follower of Christ. The Bible is the best commentary on the Bible, and scripture explains scripture better than anyone or anything else. Instead of being quick to disagree try asking God in faith with a sincere heart to open your understanding to see whether these things be so before you turn away from the truth that can save your soul.

ACTS 17:11; "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."

Many of the so called "early church fathers" helped bring about the current false Catholic church and infused the Church with paganism and anti-semitism that made the church polytheistic with a false claim to still be monotheistic. How is it that we call men such as "Tertullian, Athanasius, The Ante-Nicene Fathers, Anastasius, Augustine, Jerome, Martin Luther, John Calvin", and even more modern day names of the last few centuries such titles as "church fathers" & "the prince of preachers", or even call ourselves denominational or doctrinal names like "Lutheran" or "Calvinist" after these men and fail to mention Christ himself or the apostles of Christ who actually wrote the Bible from which these men took their teachings? Almost all of these men were without the baptism of the Holy Spirit unlike the apostles and early church. Martin Luther would even say that speaking in other tongues was demonic; in which his doing so contradicted the Holy Scriptures themselves making him a true heretic by condemning the first century Church in his ignorance. MARK 7:7; "Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Did not the Apostle Paul expressly write against these types of damnable things? 1st CORINTHIANS 1:11-13; "For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. 12) Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13) Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?" What is an "evangelical"? We are all commanded to do the work of an evangelist in 2nd TIMOTHY 4:5; "But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." I venture to say that the current day Church is in a state of "spiritual schizophrenia" without true revelation of who God is in the person of Christ, and as a result those who claim to be believers and leaders don't know who they are and the majority aren't even "saved" like they believe.

JOHN 5:37-39; "And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. 38) And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. 39) Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me."

The full return of the prophets and the true apostolic office as well as the other five-fold ministry gifts is of greater need today than ever there has been. EPHESIANS 4:11; "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers". The prophetic office was given in the Old Testament to speak for God to Israel and the world, and in the New Testament it is also given to speak to the Church and the world. The prophet is always "second" in both the Old & New Testaments because "two" is the number of "witness". The Old Testament was by the "law and the prophets", LUKE 16:16; "The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it." The New Testament is by the "apostles and prophets", EPHESIANS 2:20; "And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone". The prophet is the uncompromising witness of God's divine revelation and herald of truth that was empowered to make correction where there was error and sin among God's people, and also to confront leadership on every level. ISAIAH 58:1; "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins." Besides Christ himself, only Moses was ever above being corrected by a prophet because of his special position as the direct representative of God's law itself. NUMBERS 12:6-7; "And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. 7) My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house." The priest spoke for the people unto God and the prophet spoke for God unto the people as well as served as the intercessor of the people; especially when the priesthood failed or slacked in their duty. We need true prophets who only care about doing the will of God and not pleasing man, and pastors who will sacrifice themselves for the sheep (people) they have been placed over to shepherd. Many of today's prophets and pastors seek fame and acclaim while perverting the truth of God and misleading the people.

JEREMIAH 23:11; "For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD."

The hand of God is at work molding and making chosen vessels to do his will and carry his word just like a potter molding clay on the pottery wheel. Those who have truly been called must learn to endure the process to its end so they can be used. Others need to go back and be remade (born again) so that they can be used properly. Some processes are so involved that deciding to quit in the midst of it or leave unfinished in the haste of one's own ambition without being properly equipped with the truth is backsliding and rebellion in the worst way; which will cost you your destiny on the earth and eternal damnation in perdition. ROMANS 8:14; "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." If you are truly led by the Spirit of God then it will lead you to obey the truth in God's Word and not your traditions or what you think is right. JOHN 16:13; "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." The "FEARFUL & UNBELIEVING" are mentioned first among those who go into the lake of fire before what we consider outright sinners. That attitude is punished just the same as murderers and the worst of the worst. REVELATIONS 21:8; "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." We do well to consider this fact the next time we try to quit our various services and ministry unto the LORD by voicing our displeasure, or choosing to walk in ungodly errors, perverting the word of the LORD and not taking heed to correction. The apostles must lay a true foundation as wise master builders to expand the Kingdom of God and build up the Church while the Prophets must act as building inspectors to insure that everything is up to code and not in violation, or the building must be either repaired or condemned. YAH (GOD) used his true servant Eliyah (Elijah) the prophet to face the false prophets of Baal alone on top of Mount Carmel to call the nation of Israel back to the one true God, and out of the worship of the false god Baal (Read 1st KINGS 18). God is calling his Church back to code by the mouth of his true prophets through his Holy Word.  ~ I.J. West

MALACHI 4:5-6; "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6) And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse."
