Response to David E. Taylor's Apology About His False 2014 Superbowl Prophecy

Let's examine more closely the "damage control" mechanisms that false prophets use when they get exposed by using a recent example of which I am personally familiar and was involved as a target of censor by one such "profit". We will go in depth from the scriptures and address how believers in Christ are to discern when an exposed church leader is simply doing a disingenuous public relations ploy by projecting a phony image of humility to save their ministry, and when they are sincerely repentant. Are they truly remorseful or just sorry they got caught? We will also discuss the lack of discernment among leaders who won't address these issues, and expose the reasons why many of them protect and promote known false messengers. This will require patient disciplined reading.

*QUESTION: "If you catch me putting cyanide poison in your food and I tell you I'm sorry yet you allow me to continue to make your food, but I put arsenic poison in your food instead then am I really sorry and are you really stupid?"

Recently David E. Taylor issued what appears to be a full apology on February 8, 2014 via one of his Facebook pages for his false prophecy of the 2014 Superbowl for which he made a video that went viral, much to his chagrin, and in which he predicted or "forecasted" (as he said) a Denver Broncos victory; which did not even come close to happening. In the game which was played this past February 2nd Denver lost dramatically and emphatically 43-8, and didn't even score until the Seattle Seahawks were well ahead 36-0. What was so ironic about Seattle's blowout victory was the fact they came in as a defensive team not known for scoring a lot of points, and Denver was the highest scoring offense of all time with a living legend quarterback who had just completed the single greatest regular and MVP record setting season of all time. Nobody expected this to happen. David E. Taylor posted his prophecy on January 31st which was the Friday before that Sunday's game, and issued an apology exactly one week later

You can watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-4RmXIPOsA

When this new apology came out I purposely waited and did not respond while others contacted me about it and responded themselves on their various outlets of public communication and social media. I spoke to some privately but didn't express my thoughts publicly. I wasn't trying to get a "scoop" on the story and be the first with a strong rebuttal, but I wanted to be sure I was hearing from the leading of the Holy Ghost so I don't speak my feelings over God's word when dealing with this. On the surface and at first glance this new apology of his seems to be far more sincere than his initial attempted apology. Let's take a look at it:

"MY HEART AND SINCEREST APOLOGIES OVER THE SUPERBOWL PROPHECY

Again for the record and sincerely to some of those who are having a hard time embracing my first statement, I humbly admit that I missed it and apologize to the entire Christian community and my precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving a word of prophecy about the Superbowl that did not come true. Obviously, I was wrong and the word I gave was inaccurate.

What greatly disturbs me is that I shared this word trusting and believing with all my heart that I was hearing from the Lord. I am heartbroken because I understand fully well that the gift of prophecy is not something to toy around with or treat irresponsibly.

In moving forward I realize that God allowed it to happen. He knew I was going to mess up and He didn't stop me. God also knew that this experience of messing up was going to drive me into a season of learning wisdom and into deep prayer and consecration. I've been in ministry long enough to know that whenever I make a mistake I should run to the Lord’s presence. Never run from Him.

I feel the right thing for me to do is make a another public apology, so I’m doing it. I repent for being wrong. As I prepare to go into a private time of prayer I am asking for your forgiveness and your prayers. Join me as I seek the face of The Lord. Thank you soo  much.

Yours in Christ,

~David E. Taylor~"

One of the first things to note is the use of such phrases and sentences as  "I missed it", "the word I gave was inaccurate", "I shared this word trusting and believing with all my heart that I was hearing from the Lord", "God allowed it to happen", "He knew I was going to mess up", "God also knew that this experience of messing up was going to drive me into a season of learning wisdom and into deep prayer and consecration". First off let me say this in response: GOD ALSO KNEW DAVID E. TAYLOR LIED ON THE HOLY GHOST!

David E. Taylor separated himself far from everyone else with his boasts about seeing Christ over 1,000 times on earth and in heaven. He markets himself with the claim of having a unique & special "face to face relationship" with the Lord like Moses almost as if the scriptures themselves were actually speaking of him and not Yeshua the Christ as the one to come that would be likened unto Moses. He also claims to walk in all five of the ministerial offices mentioned in Ephesians 4:11 of "apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher", and even dresses in band leader looking type of suits to try and convey the idea of him as the fabled title of "a general in God's army"; which his followers exuberantly call him. When you have exalted yourself to that lofty of an height you can't simply "miss it"  and be excused as if you loudly farted at dinner and just said "excuse me" while everyone else inhales yet acts like they are ignoring your stank.

ISAIAH 65:5; "Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day."

His "apology" was meant to take the steam out of any other criticism of him and completely disarm it. It is an old but still effective tactic that I'm very familiar with. I know this tactic of false contrition and apology well because I have helped other preachers use it in the past by advising them to do so after their own major blunders when I was in that same "system". It helps folks forget and makes them more willing to overlook all the other things you've done and are still doing while trying to turn the tables on those who oppose you. For me to even say something more about it now makes folks angry with me, makes me seem petty & unforgiving, and will turn some folks off because they don't want to accept it.

This tactic is very effective in trying to deflate any sound rebuttal after one has been exposed like David E. Taylor has been. I truly desire to believe his apology is sincere but I can't abandon my good sense for nonsense. I don't believe David E. Taylor and I have a very substantial list of reasons why I don't. He has now been forced to do this in order to get out of this mess because of the pressure from others. This is a "political" ploy and not a sincere  "spiritual" one. It is a high level "DECEPTION", and Christ himself warned us about these types of messengers.

MATTHEW 7:15; "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."

David E. Taylor has been lying for many years now but probably won't admit to that because saying  "I lied about everything else too" is far worse than just saying "I missed it on the Superbowl", and will undermine what he has built for himself over the last 20-years. "Missing it" means I made a "mistake" which seems lesser or minor, but to say "I lied" is to admit the guilt of sin against God; especially when you have been lying for years and profiting from it off of the sincerity and gullibility of these same sincere people who often do truly love the Lord and believe in you as his minister.

I truly hope he does admit this and repent for which I would completely back off of him if he did so, and I would then support him. None of us want to always be that blunt or honest because of the shame of what we have done and the guilt we often are still feeling, but this type of transparency is what the LORD receives as true repentance for which he will put away and permanently blot out our sins against us the same as the prophet Nathan told David. God doesn't accept excuses but he does accept sincere repentance. King David said straight out when he was caught, "I HAVE SINNED" , and didn't sugarcoat it.

2nd SAMUEL12:13; "And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die."

*Let me ask again; QUESTION: "If you catch me putting cyanide poison in your food and I tell you I'm sorry yet you allow me to continue to make your food, but I put arsenic poison in your food instead then am I really sorry and are you really stupid?"

Prior to this on February 7, 2014 at 10:08 AM, David E. Taylor tried to put out a low key curse on those who spoke against him and said: "You don't have to respond to those who attack, belittle, or insult you. You may not see it, But GOD is dealing with them. If they persist, He will arrange their harvest in such a way that they'll know it's because of what they did to you."

It appears he's trying to pronounce a "down-low" curse on others that is returning back on his own head while also trying reinforce the dreaded cult fear dynamic of "the  mand or  womand  of gawd"  as all cult leaders & false "profits" do in order to try and keep folks from challenging or questioning them. If you don't have to respond as he said then why is he responding and why is it so important for him to inform us that there will be a "rearranging" by God of anyone's harvest as a retaliation of sorts against opposition?

The public reporting and negative spotlight that was shed on him by his own doing got to him and he can't handle it because he never expected it and probably thought he was above it for which he was severely mistaken. David E. Taylor posted numerous responses which amount to non-sincere self-advertisements and defenses of himself while simultaneously attempting to throw spiritual darts against those who have spoken out against him. Just about all of the responses made on his numerous social media pages that weren't favorable have been deleted with others reporting they have been blocked. Those are his pages and he can do whatever he wants to do with them.

Here is a response to this very post of his by Brian K. Jennings:

"ROMANS 12:14; "Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not." Not many had much direct input concerning all this, BUT, this post is too close to attempting to curse those that came against the missed prophesy. GOD does not work this way and I am saddened by this post...There are many examples of God blessing and also cursing individuals, families or nations. This is not only His sovereign right as the Lawgiver and the Judge, but He also does everything in a righteous and just manner (even where we may not be able to understand things with our limited knowledge). However, a missed Super Bowl prophesy and individuals coming against a missed prophetic word does not qualify as reason for God to curse or punish them. Furthermore, this sly attempt to show some spiritual power to show others of a self-manifested spiritual power is wrong. Christ has justified us and will not allow anyone to condemn us (Rom. 8:33-34). If anyone curses us in his anger when we ourselves are innocent, it will, of course, not find a place in us (Prov. 26:2)."

That's a pretty solid response to me and is very sound. Too my knowledge David E. Taylor seems to have received it initially by his own admission via private message, but nonetheless he has deleted it as of yesterday on February 9th. It appears that while he himself makes public statements against others and he acknowledges some statements he himself does not receive correction well; especially if it is done openly. Having made himself a "general" of sorts would seem to feed into his ego and bring this about. People have sent me screen shots or links to David E. Taylor's various pages, and I've decided not to visit his pages myself because I'm not stalking the man and have no personal vendetta against him. I'm against his false teaching and phony representation which misleads many astray from the truth in Christ.

I was waiting to see what other leaders would say because in my experiences they rarely speak out against one of their so called own, but almost always speak up for them. The good that came out of this has been that more people realize they need to study for themselves, and it has made more individuals who claim prophetic authority or gifts be much more careful and more humble. I was also interested in seeing how David E. Taylor responded initially as to whether or not he would sincerely repent, and make it much easier to move on but he waited for a full week for whatever reason to issue his statement after saying all the other subtle threats along with the mad scrambling he did to erase the video from record. If you can do a video to promote yourself and get it wrong why can't you do another video of admitting you were wrong David? Maybe he'll do one if he hasn't already. We'll see.

In fairness to David E. Taylor let me read a post in his defense that was meant to comfort him from another minister by the name of Pastor D.D. Grimes:

"CONTINUE TO PREACH THE GOSPEL! KING  DAVID HAD MANY TEST & TRIAL: David is moved to take a census.

Again the anger of the LORD was aroused against Israel, and He moved David against them to say, "Go, number Israel and Judah." So the king said to  Joab the commander of the army who was with him, "Now go throughout all the tribes of Israel, from Dan to Beersheba, and count the people, that I may know the number of the people."

a. The anger of the LORD was aroused against Israel, and He moved David: The translators of the New King James Version believe that "He" in this sentence applies to God, because they capitalize it. Yet 1 Chronicles 21:1 tells us, Now Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel. The best explanation is that Satan prompted King David and is the "he" of 2 Samuel 24:1. Yet the LORD expressly allowed it as a chastisement against David..."

While I appreciate Brother Grimes effort I can't completely agree with him. This is one of the issues I have when leaders come in on the tail end of things but almost never earlier on to confront the error with sound doctrine. God allows a lot of things but that doesn't mean he approves them. When we say God allows something that simply means he hasn't prevented it, but he's not obligated to prevent everything we do or that would compromise the freewill of mankind which he gave us. God doesn't "expressly allow it as a chastisement against us." It doesn't make sense for God to "allow" us to sin so that he can correct us of our sins. He's trying to keep us from sin so that we don't die an eternal death in sin which is why Christ came. God doesn't make anyone sin nor tempt them to sin. Satan himself can't make anyone sin but he does tempt us to sin. When we sin it is because we have given into our own preconceived lusts or ungodly desires. Our willful sins are the manifestation of our surrendering to those desires in rebellion against what is right, and the scriptures make this very clear.

JAMES 1:13-15; "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth  he any man: 14) But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15) Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth  forth death."

On another of his Facebook pages prior to but the same day as his latest apology accompanied with a picture he posted of a church full of skeletons and bones David E. Taylor also said: "JESUS said..."Inside They Are Full Of Dead Men's Bones....." This is a true picture of the spiritual condition how a lot of religious church people are in as a result of a lack of LOVE, MERCY, & GRACE....I just had another chance to see this after the incident with the SUPERBOWL Prophecy...,They point fingers at other's mistakes when they themselves have made the same mistakes or worse privately.. LET'S NOT BE PERSECUTORS OR ACCUSERS OF THE BRETHREN.....WALK IN LOVE and afford others the same grace and mercy when they make mistakes that the Lord Jesus has allowed you....Jesus said..."Outwardly they appear righteous unto men but inwardly they are full of Dead men's bones..."

The "love, mercy, & grace"  that he is referring to is for himself yet he is still taking his shots at others by using the scriptures to say folks are "full of dead men's bones"  because they called him on the carpet for his blatant error and are also on him for his other erroneous perversions of scripture which have now been exposed. He even minimizes his blatant lie down to a mere "mistake" as if it was of no consequence at all. No David, you are exactly what Christ called the Pharisees and Scribes in the verse you misused to try and throw shade on others. That is truly hypocritical of you.

MATTHEW 23:27; "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness."

Christ is speaking to you David E. Taylor and those like you who masquerade as something they are not and mislead others by playing on their sincere desire to truly know the Lord Yeshua the Messiah. It's one thing to be a "flawed prophet" but it's a completely different thing to be a  "false prophet" and you would do well to learn the difference as would the un-discerning leaders who support you. This tremendous public blunder of yours was the flaw of a fake prophet done at a time to generate a buzz and gain publicity for your upcoming "Miracles In America" and  "Dream School" conferences which you have scheduled for this February and March. David E. Taylor lied on the Holy Ghost.

In the book of Acts chapter 5, verses 1-10 the married couple named "Ananias &  Sapphira" were killed by the Lord for lying to the Holy Ghost, so he should be the one in fear for speaking such an open lie in the name of the Lord in light of this biblical fact rather than trying to make others be in fear of speaking against him. Tell the truth and shame the Devil or have the LORD shame you as he did for lying on Him. He lacks the humility and sincerely repentant heart to admit the errors of his ways and confess the mountainous lies he has told. David E. Taylor is not to be feared or revered as a true prophet or man of God by anyone according to the Holy Scriptures of God Almighty.

DEUTERONOMY 18:22; "When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him."

I try to the utmost not to be insensitive but I'm aware that folks act real funny and will reject the truth when it speaks against what someone like David E. Taylor has done concerning his public "apology" . Is he also going to come out and say he lied about seeing Jesus over 1,000 times and going to heaven multiple times as if he was picking up some "milk & honey snack cakes"  and a "water of life Big Gulp"? Is he going to admit that he's been lying about if you buy his book you will see Jesus too and all the lies he put in the book? The book taps into folks desire for fantasy and no doubt induces some sort of self-hypnotism that makes some of these people believe they are seeing Jesus on some level, but it's really an hallucination. At worst it is the manifestation of an "ascended master"; which is a demonic spirit that manifest itself as an angel of light or as the Lord to deceive others. Most of the time a dream is just a dream that means nothing at all, and we are not to spend our lives chasing dreams but in reverent service unto Yah our God.

ECCLESIASTES 5:7 (ESV); "For when dreams increase and words grow many, there is vanity; but God is the one you must fear."

The apostle Peter was an eyewitness of the life of Jesus Christ and one of his closest disciples. Yet, by his own account he directs us to give more credence to the written scriptures of the Holy Bible over his own eyewitness. In the scriptures found in 2nd Peter 1:16-21 he recalls his eyewitness account of beholding the transfiguration of Christ on top of the mountain as recorded in Matthew 17:1-9 & Mark 9:2-10. Please take note of verse 19 where Peter calls the written word of God "a more sure word of prophecy". This means the Scriptures are the final say and authority in all things. Peter goes on to say in verse 20 that nobody living receives a unique "private interpretation" or revelation concerning the things of God as they are revealed through the scriptures.

This also extends to revelations outside of the scriptures. Even further on in verse 21 Peter makes it clear that all prophecy concerning these things has already been declared which makes it an impossibility for anyone to come along after all scripture has been written with an equivalent or greater revelation from the Holy Spirit of Yah. So then, anybody who claims to have travelled to heaven and spoken with the LORD personally and also dead people to receive special messages such as David E. Taylor has claimed is a liar. We may see things in dreams and visions that comfort us or are symbolic but our experiences must line up with the scriptures that are already written, and can never supersede them or the experiences of those in them in any way in order to be valid or they are not genuine. Let's read Peter's account from the scriptures to prove this:

2nd PETER 1:16-21; "For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17) For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18) And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. 19) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that  shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21) For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."

Why doesn't David E. Taylor or his followers direct you to open the Holy Bible that the LORD himself dictated and had written about Jesus Christ to get the same results? By him saying the things he says about his book he puts it on the same level of the Holy Scriptures? Don't you think that is odd and also blasphemous? Is he going to continue to do conferences to promote these lies and make a profit from them under the guise of a "non-profit" and "tax exempt" ministry? This is the true "fruit" that reveals the true "root" from which a person is rooted in, and is what I'm looking for before I believe him or anyone like him.

The real prophets by way of the Holy Spirit called this the hatching of cockatrice eggs and the weaving of spider's webs. A cockatrice is a poisonous serpent and we can see clearly that a spider's web causes entanglement in the web of a thing that is meant to devour you. He has been hatching serpents of false doctrines that are full of venomous lies and entangling people in his heresy while he devours and takes advantage of their time and money to profit and make gain from them for him.

ISAIAH 59:4-5; "None  calleth for justice, nor any  pleadeth  for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity. 5) They hatch cockatrice' eggs, and weave the spider's web: he that eateth  of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed  breaketh  out into a viper."

Trust the Lord, and understand that a miracle doesn't have to make sense but the reason you need one does. While a personal visitation from the Lord is a wonderful experience pursuing such experiences is never taught in the Bible because our walk with God is based on "FAITH" which is based on believing the word of God concerning the unseen according to scripture as declared in HEBREWS 11:1; "The Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."  Furthermore we are told in  2nd CORINTHIANS 5:7; "For we walk by faith, not by sight". Some may question as to what authority I have to speak on this issue and the answer is simple to me.

If you esteem and deem David E. Taylor as a man of such stature that can speak for God then surely you must know that there are others who are equally if not more qualified to speak also, and he isn't truly authorized to speak at all. I get my commission from the scriptures of God right out of the Holy Bible. I'm doing what I've been told to do, and also as a U.S. Citizen I have the rights protected by the Constitution to speak freely and do so. You have the right to disagree with me or not pay attention to this response. According to the scriptures it's not that David E. Taylor simply "missed it" but it's the fact that the Lord says he follows his own spirit and "has seen nothing!"

EZEKIEL 13:1-3; "And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, 2) Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the Lord; 3) Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!"

David E. Taylor also needs to apologize for the other lies he's told like those in his book about meeting Jesus face to face and how you will meet Jesus too if you buy it. He needs to admit he's not like Moses (which makes him like Christ and is blasphemous), and he needs to admit that he has not seen Jesus personally over 1,000 times (who's counting). He needs to admit that he has not been to heaven several times nor even to hell. He needs to stop letting folks call him "Jesus's  best friend", "A General in God's Army", or advertising himself as the "face to face prophet" and other egotistical titles. He needs to admit he's not a true apostle, and he needs to actually get saved for real among other things.

David E. Taylor's apology was political because this was his best recourse if he wanted to try to recover his tarnished reputation, and insure the success of his upcoming February and March meetings as well as preserve his deceived following by gathering sympathy through an act of false repentance. I had some folks tell me they were looking at his apology as sincere and feeling sorry for him, but that's why he did it; so he could win sympathy for himself without any requirement to change. This brazen and dishonest attempt at image repair is directly from the Devil's playbook under "FALSE HUMILITY 101".

2nd CORINTHIANS 11:13-15; "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."

I have my own life with its own set of challenges, problems, history, and am not perfect either like everybody else so I'm not about withholding mercy from anyone who sincerely seeks it. I also hope to help many others by showing the love of Christ. I'm not out to get anybody on some personal stuff but I am out to tell the truth and come against false doctrine to keep people from being deceived by those who don't truly care about them like they want to believe in their naiveté. Christians are extremely forgiving and gullible in this area. We should be forgiving but never foolish.

It is the foolishness of our forgiveness that false prophets are banking on such as "Peter Popoff", "Robert Tilton", "Todd Bentley"  and many others who have been previously busted before but are all back with the same old tricks. In Christianity we make ourselves easy targets for charlatans & false prophets perhaps more so than in other religions because of our often misguided and misinterpreted understanding of Biblical forgiveness & restoration absent of true discipline or accountability. We too often have no system of protection or recovery in place for the victims of these phony messengers. Think about it like this:

Most wouldn't allow a known convicted child molester & pedophile to be around your children or grandchildren unsupervised just because they said they repented and asked for your forgiveness would you? We may not continue to hold what they've done against them but that doesn't mean we don't take measures to insure they aren't in a position to do it again to the detriment of the children who would be their victims. In the same manner, the LORD looks at us as his dear children and would never put us in that kind of danger so why do we allow it in our ministries with these false prophets who are spiritual pedophiles, molesters, and rapists of the people of the Kingdom of Almighty God?

Where is the protection or the correction for the people of God? Why is it that every time a leader "misses it" or gets busted that everyone focuses on restoring the fallen leader but never investigating them more thoroughly and looking into the damage that they have caused or caring more for the victims they have damaged? It's not that a person can't sincerely repent and change, but the Scriptures make it plain that wicked people like this do not change any more than a leopard can change its spots. We see it in the fact they continue the same hustle they had before and people fall for it again as if it never happened.

JEREMIAH 13:23; "Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil."

This is what I call the "spirit of Absalom". It just wants back into the palace and in the good graces of the people so it can raise even greater hell and division just like the historical Absalom did in the Holy Scriptures (*READ: 2nd Samuel chapters 13-18). It is interesting to note that in the story of Absalom the inaction of his father, King David, is perhaps the greatest contribution to helping create the vain and profane person Absalom became. This is the same dynamic that occurs in our day when spiritual leaders don't respond or move to address such misbehavior and false doctrine among their own ranks just as King David failed to do with his own children.

In 2nd Samuel chapter 13 David's oldest son Amnon raped David's daughter Tamar who was the full sister of Absalom; meaning they had the same mother & father. Because of David's prior sin with Bathsheba he failed to act against his son Amnon for the rape of Tamar. When you cover wrong without addressing it you have made yourself what the Bible calls a "surety" for these bad ministers as if you are covering a bad loan or their blatant sin, using your ministry as collateral, and agreeing to do so at the expense of the folks following your leadership for whom Adonai Yeshua considers "strangers". Them being strangers means they aren't even true disciples of Christ no matter how much like "family" or a good Christian they sound and look. You are selling out to them.

PROVERBS 11:15; "He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth suretiship is sure."

This is a very similar situation with a lot of other leaders and is why they don't and most often won't address people like David E. Taylor and others. It's not because they are being "Christ like" in forgiving and loving that person, but it is often because they are afraid of their own stuff being exposed or feel impotent to act against someone else for doing what they have either done or are doing. King David had something on him that even though God had forgiven him of it he was still crippled by it spiritually, and it affected his judgment in a very bad way that would cost him tremendously in that he would eventually lose both his beloved sons, Amnon and Absalom, to violent deaths. You leaders that invite these false preachers into your churches and won't check them on their false doctrine or their fleecing the people out of their money with slick words, tricks & gimmicks, and outrageous lies are accomplices to their sins. You too will be judged as they will by God as if you did it too, and in this life you run the very real risks of losing out on things near & dear to you because of what you choose to ignore that you know is wrong.

MICAH 3:9-12; "Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity. 10) They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity. 11) The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among us? none evil can come upon us. 12) Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest."

David E. Taylor and his people are still trying to intimidate others from showing the video of his false Superbowl prophecy while also promoting his lying book, and his false ministry. They have made threats of legal action and misused scriptures in an ominously threatening way to infer a doom from God Almighty on all who challenge Taylor's credibility and trumped up authority; which speaks contrary to the public apology he made. I know this because I am a recipient and target of such attempts with a letter directly from his office as evidence. *Again, QUESTION: "If you catch me putting cyanide poison in your food and I tell you I'm sorry yet you allow me to continue to make your food, but I put arsenic poison in your food then am I really sorry and are you really stupid?"

PSALM 5:9; "For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue."

At one point in my ministry I was a "damage control person" or adviser. I understand very well how to build a person's image up, do good public relations, and play politics like "Ahithophel and Hushai" were capable of during King David's day and also during the time of Absalom's deception and rebellion. Leaders have called me "anonymously"  for prophecy or advice, and have also turned on me because of the same. I know what I'm talking about because of what I have personally experienced in the ministry. I had to come to a point where I realized the system of religion I had accepted was not a true relationship with Christ, and then I made a determined decision to forsake that system to walk with Christ in spirit and in truth, and not in tradition and make believe. Our complacency and complicity in our own duping by ignorance of the scriptures is our own fault because there are numerous warnings in the Word of truth if we would only search them out and believe them.

ACTS 20:28-30; "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29) For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30) Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them."

The words found in Acts 20:28-30 shown above still hold true for every messenger of Yah assigned to help shepherd the flock of Yeshua Messiah our Lord. It is a shame that many today overlook these verses and those beyond them as to the character of their calling and instead defend the grievous wolves rather than protect the LORD's sheep. It seems if I steal money, molest a child, sexually assault women, lie on the Holy Spirit, or be a pervert with no respect for God or his people I can become an "APOSTLE" or at least a "BISHOP" in some alphabet soup church organization, and gullible people will still support my ministry and even send me money. It's shocking and scary to find out how many "pastors" and other leaders don't truly know the Holy Bible or Christ that well and are leading people who are seeking to learn the Scriptures. It is no wonder there is so much deception running rampant through churches all over and folks believe lies over the truth.

*Let me ask you for the last time; QUESTION: "If you catch me putting cyanide poison in your food and I tell you I'm sorry yet you allow me to continue to make your food, but I put arsenic poison in your food instead then am I really sorry and are you really stupid?"   POISON IS STILL POISON AND IT IS ALL MEANT TO KILL YOU. Just because I give you a choice of how you will allow me to poison you doesn't mean I don't plan to still kill you.

It's amazing to me how so many Christian believers can believe all the promises of the Bible but not take heed to any of the warnings of the Bible about false messengers and false doctrine.

Do you know how to recognize a wolf in sheep's clothing? Observe their dietary habits. Sheep eat grass and wolves eat the sheep. If the people are sincere in trying to serve God and the leader seems to focus on making the people dependent on him rather than teaching them how to be independent of him and dependent on Yah (the LORD) by faith in Yeshua Messiah (our Savior), and he or she always reaps the greatest benefits and has to be preeminent concerning whatever is going on then you have a wolf wearing nice sheepskin leather and not a true shepherd. This is what the Bible calls a "hireling" who is only in it for the money and not for the genuine concern of the sheep aka the people. JOHN 10:13; "The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and  careth  not for the sheep." We seem to be more content to just let the wolves change sheepskins for a new clean one after their old one gets dirty. May God have mercy on us all in Adonai Yeshua Moshiach's name; also known in the English language as the Lord Jesus Christ. Shalom.  ~ I.J. West

  1. To all of those who are "ANONYMOUS" supporters of false apostle David E. Taylor please leave your name to be identified in order to have your comment published. If you so strongly believe that this man is a genuine prophet of God and claim to "follow his ministry" then you shouldn't be ashamed to publicly identify yourself.seeing that you know who I am publicly. I have written two very detailed articles on this blogspot for your reading and if you still have to ask for proof then it is obvious why you are deceived by this man.

  2. Awesome article. I too tried to warn people that Taylor's 'apology' was fake, insincere, and an act of false humility pretending to be repentance. He is now prophelying that Jesus will physically appear in North Carolina. As far as I'm concerned, he is given over to a reprobate mind and serves as a judgment upon those who take pleasure in unrighteousness and refuse to receive a love for the truth of Jesus Christ.

  5. I live in N.C. where God is always around. Jesus and the Holy Spirit also. I know Jesus will come one day. Not because 'Apostle' Taylor predicted it. He will have to answer for his wrong doing just like all of us will. I hope people can see through his corruption.
